This is absolutely amazing advice directly from St. Nicodemus the Hagiorite on the spiritual life and warfare. Thank you very much for sharing this and please keep doing this more and more. May God bless you!

And also from St. Theophan the Recluse, in his translation from the Greek text into Russian, with some of his own Holy insights and understanding.

Into some pardonable transgression. What might not be pardonable?
@orthodoxpearls4 ай бұрын
FIRST: Address this question to your local eastern orthodox priest in a face-to-face meeting. There is nothing that God will not forgive if we repent for it and go to confession and do what is necessary to overcome this transgression if it overcomes us regularly. Something is only unforgiveable or unpardonable if we do not seek God's mercy, since by our own action we are rejecting Gods mercy, thereby making the sin unpardonable because we do not seek to be pardoned! God bless you.

I had this same question. As a catechumen I don’t get confession so I guess I just pray and ask for mercy and forgiveness? For my horrible, dark, sinful deeds?

@@spikestoyou I'm a Catechumen and go to confession regularly for ongoing temptations. Your not absolved but it has helped me immensely to fix them. Glory to God
