In basically every other KZbinr's FX video they all state you MUST have a system with hard/fast rules so you can repeat it and NEVER break the rules! (no intuition allowed!) The caveat is that they all also state that the system does not work indefinitely for a multitude of reasons at which point you have to re-engineer a new system possibly for each pair. Your non-system strategy appears to have been working consistently for 6 or more years now with slight adjustments along the way. Sticking with a few basic fundamental guidelines appears to be a much better and more consistent approach that allows for personal freedom to think and act on the go. I have been paper trading for 6+ months now and I believe I am approaching pretty decent profitability using these simple fundamental general guidelines. Thank you Nick. When I'm ready to work with my hard earned money I will be joining up with you and your courses. Keep it real that's the only we'd have it. Happy new year sir.

Thanks to finally trying your simple approach to trading, my account is finally sprung back from the dead, and catching up to where the balance first was a month ago. The drawdown wasn't terrible, but you could see on my Excel progress graph that I was overwhelmed by all the strategies and noise on KZbin. I should have just kept things stupidly simple and controlled risk and managed my trades properly. Cutting losing trades short, and adding to winners. That I wasn't doing at all, lol. Thanks Nick. I'm laughing at myself now for how simple trading can actually be. My confidence has skyrocketed, and when I lose, I lose small, but my winners are now on average bigger than my losses. Even after I lost a few trades in a row, I still made money on one trade.

The thing with strategies is that when they stop working they fuck up your mind and gets you thinking why it stopped working. So keeping things simple is way better imo

@@nelliemillan4627 bro just start paper trading. Be profitable for a month or two and then jump into your real account. I was trading with small account in the beginning and gradually increased my starting capital as soon as my risk management was profitable. Also my risk structure is somehow a martingale approach but simpler. When I lose a trade I cut it early and then the next one I open is double my risk. Guys it's the most hilarious thing I have a 3 in the row losing streak and then a single winner makes more profit than all 3 losing trades 🤣

@@croaxer2390 Lost money slowly and steadily, because I got sucked into indicators, fundamentals, and other stupid shit. Basically got shiny object syndrome and fear, and got overwhelmed by the fact that the market is random, and so therefore, "I cannot make money". Don't do what I did for over 6 months. Me from 6 months ago had it all. My equity curve was going up like crazy, because I managed my risk and my trades so well (I cut losing trades off if they looked like they weren't gonna play out, but made a lot more by running my winners). I just had to stop listening to other people and trust that what I was doing was working perfectly fine. I had the holy grail, but yeah... Wasted so much damn time and money doing stupid shit. Luckily my risk management is solid, so I didn't go down quickly.

Wow, just mind blowing. I’m fairly new to trading only having a grand total of 5 months. Learning and trading, but December was a turning point for me. I couldn’t comprehend why everyone talks about strategies because for myself it didn’t matter if I traded SMC or S&R I would be the reason why I blew my account. My mental control would cause me to over leverage or FOMO or revenge trade. I was a sore loser, but after watching your videos I’m realizing I need to chill, I realized strategies didn’t matter this month and sticking to S&R for simplicity would be easier, than adding in your mindset, that to me is the most valuable thing is the mindset behind this. it wouldn’t matter what strategy you use, the mindset is what I needed to hear. Thank you sir because you have just helped me tremendously, now it’s up to me to implement it.

My problem with adding to a winning trade is mostly that, if back and front stops are kept fixed, the new volume is like a new trade with worst risk X reward ratio. So even if once the price reaches that new entry point the probability of going to the gain is now higher then going for loss, that extra is diminished by a problematic inferior RxR. At the end of the day, it could have been equal (and simpler) or even more profitable to just start the trade with a heavier hand.

I love your videos and attitude but I only trade Futures or I would be in your Telegram. Thanks.

Bro, I know a lot of great traders who use a strategy that is consistant, & for long periods of time, the great Tom Hougaard, Abdullah Rasheed, Trades by rob, & they seem to make it work with 50 to 60% strike rate, I get what your doing but its like your the anomaly brother & I am glad you can just flip a coin & guess what way the price will go then do hedge bets to cover yourself but even following what you do is extremely difficult. Each to their own & I know shit loads of mentors & clients who use a strategy & for long periods of time

The only culprit: stop loses are not reducing your risk, they increase it
