STOP Using 'Say' - Use These Words Instead!

It's an extremely common word but the verb, 'to say' isn't always the most fantastic word you can use! Here are some alternatives to boost your English level!

My Grammar School English teacher taught that there is no place in the English Language for the verb 'to get' or any of its participles. If you used a participial of the verb 'to get' he would automatically reduce your essay by ONE FULL MARK. Try living without the verb 'to get'.... there is always another way, and probably more polite way, of saying it! I am now 71, and I still avoid the verb 'to get'.
