I think the “ADS Precision” just refers to auto aiming to enemies’ heads. Since it is a fact that deadshot does that, I think that would make more sense than the idle sway thing

If you want your mind blown, try dead again combined with a shotgun, the augment treats each pellet like a hit. Ive had friends use the marine and go from 1 to 8 with one shot, and even removes the animation for chambering rounds for the LR, Frostline, and Marine

The advanced movement thing is less about sliding and most noticeable during jumping. You get like 20% less vertical upward bob and like 50% less crosshair drop when you land.

I didn’t see you touch on it during the segment but unless they changed it from the first few weeks Dead Again has insane synergy with shotguns as each pellet counts as a chance to return a round. I’ve had times where I was on my last shot and nearly refilled my entire ammo from getting repeated crits :)

I was a bit sad that you didn't talk about it because it was mad fun just blasting without a care in the world 🤣

@Doughnuts You need to try SVD pack a punched. The secret ability is that headshots/criticals will ignore armor. You can literally kill the bucket heads with headshots in the new map. This weapon is a hidden gem no one is talking about. Not to mention if you hipfire it’s a shotgun.

@@primewolff9570 i think david might be onto something here, i knew the svd was cool packed but this sounds cracked bro. unless im mistaken, the citadelle knight zombies are completely immune to headshot damage as in you can't break their armor, you have to shoot their torso to kill them normally. svd might be more of a meta than we thought

That gun is cracked. I cleared the Terminus boss like he was nothing with it, and I'm sad I didn't bring it on my first attempt for the absolute unit that the Citadelle boss is. The ONLY downside to this thing is handling. It's atrocious on "firing speed" (the speed you move while the gun is actively shooting), and it has each shot drawn out longer than the actual shot. Not to mention it's easy to accidentally que another round. Though I do have to say thank you, as I'm going to need to look more into the armor thing, it was deleting most things with armor, but I know when I was first playing Citadelle with the Sirin, I tried shooting the bucket head's helmet off. Dumped a whole 40 round mag and got no hit-markers, only dings and tinks as I shot.

Hm this is interesting, I used to believe when you would ADS it would basically shoot the bullets in a direct line, when you hip fire Itl spread like a shotgun. Which, normally would mean the first shot shoots the helmet off, second gets a head shot. BUT with the helmet zombies being completely immune to headshot damage, this brings an entirely different possibility. Maybe it really does just straight up ignore Head armor. Interesting, great find!

Something that I wanted to test is the explosive damage towards armor, as I dont know if it works with the augments or not, because if it doesnt then there is no need for you to use that augment if you planned on using Mustangs or the sniper that turns in the scavenger from BO1. Still really interesting to see all of this, I kinda knew that guns with the critical damage increase augment and elemental pop augment made a HUGE difference, but still surprised by the results here.

Thats why I always combine it with FMJ on guns, the bonus pen on zombies adding even more of a chance. I'll take extra ammo over a slight damage boost in a game like this. Not to mention how insane it is on shotguns, plus add on the extra armor damage minor augment and you got yourself a wonderful time

@@James-vl9brthink of it this way, it costs 50k to get a gun to pap 3, over 11k if you want most or all perks, and a teir 3 pap gun costs 5k per box use. Or you need to use the mystery box for any reason. Maybe late game it isn't as useful or seen that way, but being able to save any essence that would have gone into one of those many things is a massive help. Especially when a good chunk of guns in this game have some poor ammo economies after dealing with them for nebula.

Great video as always doughnuts, the only thing i'd like to add is that when you're saying to kill an amalgam in 13 seconds, we have to have in mind that that means with rapid fire (which reduces aim) you have to hit every single bullet on a weak spot to do all that dps, it's not realistic and you don't have into account armour for manglers. Also in CDM we need different ammo mods for amalgams/doppleghasts so you have to swap between weapons, training is still extremly hard at higher rounds in this game. As we get more perks and ammo mods we might get stronger and better combos so I wouldn't jump into conclusions too fast, but the game has to be also fun while it's coming out.

To be fair, yes the double damage is not a good idea if you go for high rounds cauz of all the armors. But if you're doing low rounds or the easter egg and not passing round 20, you'll make those rounds way quicker with double damage

This video saved me today! Talk about clutch timing! I watched this earlier today and saw all the hype behind "Dead Again" in the comments. When I got on to grind zombie camos, I was at the Maelstrom special camo challenge that wants you to "get 10 kills without reloading 15 times". This gun only holds 10 rounds normally, 14 with extended mag II... I was about to spam my insta-kill gums when I remembered the video I watched earlier. Thank you for the breakdown. Dead Again helped a lot for that challenge! I came back just to comment and sub. GGWP

On controller, if you run shotgun/pistols and tac stance with ads speed attachments on plus deadshot, its like an aim bot, you can spam aim/shoot and it will pretty much auto headshot

The Krig C doesn't get extra penetration for FMJ rounds, but it does really good penetration damage on it's own. I was camo grinding that on round 15 on directed mode on Liberty Falls. I'd train all the zombies then mag dump into the horde. Each horde gave me enough ammo that I never needed to buy any. I was also using the new vulture perk, so the zombies were dropping ammo as well. Those two combined are a fantastic combo. I was getting around a full mag (100 rounds) per round.

Dead again came in great when I was camo grinding for the LR7.62 sniper. It 1 hit regardless of dead shot so being able to shot more bullets before reloading was clutch

The reason why dead head makes it 15.5% increase is because it provides a 5% increase to 10%. So 1.1 x 1.05 = 1.155 or a 15.5% increase. Technically u can look at it as just an additional 5% increase.

I think dead-set is just reducing how much your weapon sights bob around when jumping, landing from a jump and diving. Pretty much like the Dexterity perk from Multiplayer.

A way you could test for the armor health could be to track the number of bullets used to kill a zombie, compare how much damage that number of bullets should be doing to the health of a normal zombies on that round. The difference would be the armor health assuming the blue number that pops up when shooting an armor zombie is the damage dealt to the zombie health, and the rest of the bullet’s damage is dealt to the armor health.

I’m not sure if you guys know this or not, but Deadshot’s critical aim assist does *_not work_* through any sort of obfuscations; Smoke Grenades, the Cryo Freeze ice cloud augment thingy, and now Vulture Aiden’s gas clouds. I thought it was a bug at launch, but I’ve now come to the conclusion that it’s intentional

I'm definitely using dead again rather than dead head. I feel like increasing effective magazine capacity will give a higher net DPS boost factoring in reload times. If I'm increasing my mag size by 20-50% that's gotta have a bigger impact than the 5% damage increase that dead head gives you. Plus on shotguns and multipellet weapons, you can effectively have infinite ammo. I just feel like all round it's the better pick for ammo efficiency and the difference in practical DPS is probably less that you think.

I think Dead First is decent for camo grinds on directed mode. I feel like I tend to take them out faster as they funnel towards me than when I forget to switch back from Dead Head. The zombies just never get that hard on directed and as long as you're keeping up on your weapon upgrades they tend to melt pretty fast. If I'm doing a standard run though, I always switch to Dead Head. Vulture Aid took care of ammo issues for me so that extra crit damage has the best value for high rounds.

In regard to figuring out the damage done per plate I think you can do the same thing you did to look at the percentage of crosshair reduction. You can watch the the zombies health bar go down, take the total know health of the zombie, count pixels, lol and then you have your percentage of damage done and then can figure out how much hp is taken away.

Idk if you have noticed this yet, but most full auto ARs and SMGs actually have a default alt fire that switches them to single-shot. That may help particularly on any tests that rely on you only firing one bullet at a time. I've noticed that such tests in these videos are still with full-auto turned on.

Regarding your testing of deadshot gun movement augment, you really only capitalizes on gun movement and aim effects when using a controller because it is tied to Aim assist. when your on keyboard and mouse you wont see the affects of the 3rd minor augment like you would if you had a controller plugged in. Regardless, nice work on the data collection i appreciate these videos

I think the best way to test the Dead Set is to put like a big plus line centered in the middle and jumping in a single place because the developer punish spam jumping so the center dot will wobble up and down alot and maybe we can get a clearer difference between with and without Dead Set. Lmk if it works

Each pellet from the shotgun has a chance to proc dead again. So you could theoretically go from one shell to a full magazine depending on RNG.

The reduction on gun movement looks to be stabilizing the weapon in movement to increase the ads speed and “x” to fire speed for “advanced movement”. From my observation.

They need to modify the crit spots on special armoured zombies (non-manglers) to count crit shots before armour is broken. Just add a percentage reduction to the damage profile where armour is applied.

Those major augments for vulture aid are aids, I use the WW ammo augment just cuz it doesn’t annoy me with gas clouds everywhere

So moral of the story is Treyarch made sure we would switch arguments based on our weapons, maps, and guns. They worked so hard to avoid clutch augments.

Dead Again with the new Maelstrom shotgun basically gives you infinite ammo, since each pellet seems to be able to trigger Dead Again. Infinite very useless ammo, but infinite nonetheless.
