He changed millions of life. I'm also including in those. According to him veganism is a blessings for poor people and some people sell vegan products at a higer price for thier own benefit that's why he is talking about this thing . Right center means look at youself। ,not your actions. When a person does action with right center the work will not be wrong. He always says that don't believe blindly. He says Observ yourself continusely. He is very sensitive person . He says that have compassion for all living beings. Don't look other person as a body. Every one is consciousness who wants to live

The message Acharya ji was trying to convey is people are promoting veganism without understanding the core of their self, without understanding compassion and empathy, and at last without the understanding of righteousness. He said that veganism is something very beautiful and spiritual only if it comes from the right source.

Hi Shivam, I found your video to be really informative and well-communicated. As a follower of Acharya Prashant (AP), I appreciate how you have conveyed his message effectively. However, even as a supporter, I believe it's important to critically examine AP's perspectives, particularly when I have personal disagreements. Since my critiques won't contribute to veganism the way AP is contributing to veganism, I believe that your comment section may be the right platform for me to share my perspective. Regarding the specific video, I agree that it could well be an editing issue. That said, there were certain points made by AP that I found concerning. From what I gathered, AP claimed that since he has been recognized as the most influential vegan by PETA (which I also acknowledge, though PETA has not always handed out awards to the correct people), it would be better for vegan activists to attend his Gita Satra rather than engage in independent outreach efforts. He seemed to imply that associating with him is the optimal way to effectively spread the vegan message, rather than pursuing vegan advocacy separately. This stance, to me, came across more as a "sales pitch" - and it was appropriate for how the question was asked. But, I sensed that AP was positioning himself as the linchpin for the Indian vegan movement. On his part, there was lack of acknowledgment of the diverse ways the vegan movement can grow - grassroot activism, incrementalism, ethics, consumption, production, etc - without having to associate with AP. I detected a false dichotomy in Acharya Prashant's position, rather than the questioner's viewpoint. I greatly respect the work AP is doing, though I believe it's important to critically assess his words - and project his shortcomings on him, not his editor or the questioner. I love your work though, and my intention in providing this feedback is to add another perspective in seeing the vegan movement as a whole. I'd be very happy to hear back from you :)
@voiceofvegans6 ай бұрын
i get your point. - The intent of the video was not to critique him but rather help some of his followers to have a positive (or erase negative) outlook towards vegan outreach. As i saw many messages floating here and there - ppl using this specific video to malign activism efforts. - On your point - "it would be better for vegan activists to attend his Gita Satra rather than engage in independent outreach efforts." This point was unclear in his answers (which i took the liberty of attributing to video editing). As an activist will convince other ppl during outreach so not sure how it is compared to activist themselves attending his session (assuming the activists are already vegan). Like a fair comparison would have been that instead of activists doing outreach themselves, get others to AP's session. Hope you follow my point here. - On your point - of "sales pitch" and "AP was positioning himself as the linchpin for the Indian vegan movement" - yes it did seem self centred in this video. Now i can't comment on his mindset or thought process but here is a viewpoint I am sharing with you. That often times a person is biased to their ability to effect a change and sometimes that bias is is arising from the right reasons - that is preparation/hard work in cultivating the ability and outcome generated from that ability. Ex - let's say you do a session after putting in hours of hardwork and have evidence of ppl changing from previous such sessions, you would want everyone (or as many ppl) to attend that session. Now let's add a contrast to this scenario (almost a dichotomy)- Another person is doing a similar lecture at the same time and you know that this person is not effective (or even downright bad in carrying such sessions) then you would want it more for their audience to shift to yours. It is still a bias though. - On your point - "here was lack of acknowledgment of the diverse...without having to associate with AP" This video, with its many flaws, did seem like this. But, as I said in the video, I do not think that it his position. I will share reference from YV Care AP video where he says towards the end to Vignesh ji "Keep up the work. It is imp for ppl like you to fight for the cause" (paraphrased). Which means that he also sees, at the very least, YV care activism as one of the ways to further Vegan movement in India. - On false dichotomy of the questionner - I meant that one can do both activism and attend AP sessions. adjust timings, attend recorded session etc. - Hope i covered all points.
@ShikharAhuja16 ай бұрын
@@voiceofvegans Thanks Shivam. Well responded. I acknowledge your points. At the end of the day, AP is justified in promoting his work and positioning it as critical for the vegan movement in India (especially for the hindi speaking audience). I am also aware that many of Peepal Farm, YVCare and even your subscribers have been heavily influenced by AP, and that shows his impact and effectiveness. Hopefully, in the longer term, the philosophy of veganism will be branching out from unrelated areas - after all, veganism must become a globally accepted mindset - not endemic to followers of only certain philosophies or philosophers. I also acknowledge that AP recognised and supports the vegan activism scene in India, and based on that perspective, it's likely that the video (in question) didn't completely represent his mindset. Thanks for the elaborate reply :)

Thanks for making this video i know many people do this,they just takes a clip of video and shows just opposite motive behind it,even acharya ji also tells these stupid to not to do these type of things😂
One thing i would like to say ki veganism in true sense is really not easy in our society since people needs sacrifices of their desire and kindness in their heart ...Again kind towards people and kind towards animals also requires some amount of rational thought which is lacking in our society....bohut log insaan ke liye kind hote but wohi log animals ka dukh dard nahi samajh pate....tog woh log veganism se bohut dur hey....unke andar animals ke liye dukh dard jagana hi mushkil hey.....kyunki khud ke ghar koyi animal hey toh unko pyar karenge per rashte me hey kisi animal dard me toh ignore karte hey....so their are lot of differences in their opinion and mentality...its not easy but we have to try anyways...

Hello . I have an explanation.. Actually that person said acharya ji mne aapka webinar Miss Kiya tha weekends ka aur apne kuch logo k sath vegan outreach krne gya tha.... To acharya ji said ki aap webinar Miss krke kyu gye the Sbse pehle to ek itne chote se level pe 4-5 logo k sath aap jaenge to kuch impact ni aane wala.... D Dusri baat ye h ki aap seedha seedha kisiko bhi vegan hone ko bolenge to wo kbhi nhi hoga.... Consumerism and aur chahiye - aur chahiye wala ek jo thinking h logo ki wo koi emotional pitch nhi bdal skti.... It's... Lyk ki jse koi music ka student apni class Miss krke bole mai to ghr pe gana record krke utube pe daal ra tha .. having 50-60 subscribers ( m a musician to isliye ye example 😅) It's not that ki wo Jo krre h wo glt h .... Bt wo webinar miss krke jare the itne chote level pe apni minimum knowledge k sath... Agar bde level pe krre hote to acharya ji kbhi mna nhi krte... That's what I understood from that vdo... Acharya ji ki prob outreach ni blki ye thi ki wo webinar chhor k gye..... Aur plant based and consumerism ki baat unhone isliye ki kyunki ye sb bhi aspects h human psychology k.... Aur ye sb samjhne k liye ek bhi webinar miss na ho to accha h.. sirf compassion compassion chillane se koi vegan bn jata to baat hi kya thi .. Aur Jo log in sare aspects ko dhyaan me rkhke vegan ni bante ... Wo veganism ka bhi faeda uthate h... Mehnga vegan samaan bechke to ghoom fir k unka consumerism jata hi nhi... baaki wo attend krte hue agr wo outreach kre .. to I don't think that wud be a prob for acharya ji Also.. u r doing great job ....❤

In addition to what you said - I think the question is what is being done in outreach. Agar koi safal outreach nahi kar raha and apna "business promote" kar raha toh usse better unke webinar mein logo ko bhej de.

Many people just see the trending part of things. They don't understand the purpose behind it. Does it take so much just to be able to feel the pain of innocent beings?

I think if Acharyaji uses a definition different than the mainstream one then the onus is on him to clarify what he means by "spirituality" otherwise the listeners would be justified in understanding it in the context of the most used definition and rightfully be against such a statement. Also, would you say these 2 statements are the same or atleast equivalent: - Veganism without spirituality is useless. - Being vegan is useless unless you are an ethical vegan. Because based on the defense of Acharyaji which you provided it sounds to me that "ethical vegan" is synonymous to "spiritual vegan". And I feel it unnecessarily conflates the two words and only creates confusion.

Agree that the onus is on him to explain what he means. He is doing that with all his work, i guess. But in this video, it should have come out as well. That’s why i said, i think there are issues with the editing. - On definition, I stick (and encourage) to the understanding that Veganism is about abolishing animal slavery. And “ethical” should be by default in built into it. Unfortunately, there is much dilution due to so many factors like celebs, pb etc. - On spiritual vegan - i think, saying this as someone who is not an expert on spirituality, that this means - being spiritual and then by default arriving at Veganism (for animals). Then the question is what is “spiritual” and if the answer is being not ignorant (as per AP) then that is fitting well with actual meaning of Veganism (for animals) - The intent here is not to discuss spirituality or AP. The intent is simply calling out on those ppl who are using this video as a justification to not do activism. Ironically, these ppl (from my limited observation) were not doing activism anyway. This just validated them.

@@voiceofvegans Yes I think popular figures should take care of it, because out of context it could be controversial for the movement. Fortunately we have people like you to clarify things :) - Even I agree with your understanding, but the world doesnt. Another example would be "vegetarian", this word would literally imply a person who derives nutrition from vegetation and should definitionally exclude milk and eggs. Yet people have defaulted to make the term mean "lacto-vegetarian". So I have to adhere to the definitions that the world has come to use irrespective of whether I like those terms or not. Personally, I always try to provide additional context and also the reasons why I am a vegan. So yeah eventhough I completely agree with you that "ethical" is already a part of "vegan" yet I feel it only does good to state and emphasize the "ethical" part. - I see, but not being ignorant doesnt necessarily default to veganism isnt i?. One can be completely aware about the practices in these industries and yet still chose to be a part of it. And even the other way around, one can be almost completely ignorant and still chose to be vegan. For example, one may not know about artificial insemination, or the conditions the animals are kept in, or the things they are injected with and so on. But be vegan just because he feels that his food is "someone" and not "something". Then I would categorize that person as a non-spiritual (as per AP's definition) yet an ethical vegan. What do you think? - I havent watched his full video, but from the clips you showed there didnt seem to be anything suggesting people to not do activism. It seemed to be more against viewing veganism as a brand as opposed to an ethical stance.

@@JwalinBhatt I would change the arrangement of what you said to make it accurate. - "not being ignorant doesn't necessarily default to veganism" - agreed. - What I implied - Being a vegan (ethical or genuine) means person is not ignorant. Now in this not knowing about AI or any other cruel practice is lack of knowledge - which i guess even vegans like us may have (who knows what all is happening in some industries). Being not ignorant is not equal to having the complete knowledge. Being not ignorant means acknowledging that it is injustice to treat animals like how they are. That is not being ignorant about their suffering. Making the conscious choice to go vegan by thinking from the victim's perspective - On his video - question is as showed here and answer is mostly about PB diet etc....My problem (and hence this video as a response) with some ppl who were using his video to malign activism efforts.

For those considering a vegan lifestyle cuz you're a compassionate being but not really knowing where to start.. I've got you covered.. You don't really know what you can eat now that you've ditched meat and dairy.. It can be quite confusing and intimidating even for those who didn't really care about what they were putting into their bodies prior to going vegan.. If you're indian..you already eat a plant centered diet..so it's dairy for us.. So if you , you the Indian , don't wanna support the cruel dairy industry..but still wanna avoid burning a hole in your pocket.. you can start with a simple meal plan.. a low budget but highly nutritious meal plan... Gather every dish you consider healthy..and then ..well... we'll get to that in a while.. But first let's talk about two essential nutrients.. vit b12 and d3 ... If you don't get out in the sun for atleast 25-30 mins 3-4 times a week.. you're doomed to suffer from d3 deficiency...even CARNIVORES (humans ofc) struggle to meet their vit d requirements from food alone.. they can hardly hit 15 percent.. so.. you should either supplement every once a week or step out in the sun a bit more often.. Now comes b12 ... You can either take shots (that's what I do..like every alternate month) or take pills every once a week .. and this is natural and safe..but be careful with fat soluble vitamins like vit D ...so it would be better if you talked to your doc before taking vit d (as they'll give you adequate dosage..) ... B12 is totally safe tho.. Or you can take axbex or zincovit (multivitamin..) .. pop in a multi and you're set for the day.. this is especially important for pre-meds (or students) like me ...busy people ... Here goes the food.. this is what works for our household ..cuz these are our staples.. Protein sources- Chickpeas Soy chunks (this is cheap and healthy..and has anti cancer properties..well anything soy has anti cancer properties except for soy bean oil) Soy bean/tofu. Beans like kidney beans or mung bean Lentils (a mix of lentils) Quinoa (quinoa is cheap.. and very healthy..) Amaranth (i buy muesli from peepal farm) Millets (Indians love millet..these are not particularly high in protein but they're amazing) Chia seeds (not just protein but amazing fats as well...but be sure to soak em) Flax seeds (these are literally superfoods..) Green peas Hemp seeds (we don't use it but they're really good) Tempeh (i don't have access to these but again ... they're so good) Legumes or Pulses in general are so good for you.. Nuts and seeds (amazing protein and fats .) Greens - Cabbage/cauliflower/brocoli/Brussel sprouts (if available) Leafy greens like spinach or kale Beet root Carrots Cucumber Amla (it's a fruit but they're the best. Period) Bell pepper 🫑 Bitter gourd And the list goes on and on.. Be sure to eat regional vegetabls cuz India is pretty diverse ...so eat your greens..and go local ... Peanut butter (peepal farm) Try to incorporate more colour into your food ....or maybe give permaculture ... Or give permaculture a shot if you have the time..and space.. Dishes i eat.. Dosa (this is my fave ) Lentil curry with rice Rajma chawal Idli sambhar Indian version of chilli (that has chickpeas , rajma , ground soy chunks , carrots , bell pepper, 🍅 tomatoes, etc) Yellow pea chat Litti chokha Soy bean biryani Soy bean ki sabzi (i eat lil to no oil) Chana masala (chickpea curry) Oat porridge with apples and bananas and chia seed on top Indian version of chilli (that has soy chunks , Pinto beans or white rajma , chickpeas , bell pepper 🫑, carrots , onion and garlic 🧄, indian spices, some soy sauce, tomato puree..and a bunch of other healthy ingredient..this can double as bhaji for pav bhaji) Quinoa oat cinnamon banana porridge without any milk.. you could add some chia or nuts of your choice.. Black mung daal seasoned with salt South Indian style besan tofu sauted in curry leaves and mustard seeds with sauce.. Chola chana chaat with aloo ki tikki .. (we make it bland cuz we like it bland..) Flax seed and jaggery dumplings Red lentil uttapam Yellow pea chat (Quinoa+daliya+millet+rice) mung bean khichdi with added veggies Daal Dhokla Pakal tofu paneer Mushroom biryani Oat dense chocolate fudge cake (dessert 😁) Mix veg soy bean sabzi (quite runny....pretty similar to a soup.. but very tasty.. i like bland stuff ) High protein muesli ... Tofu scramble (we eat homemade tofu.. ) Quinoa raita with (peanuts+cabbage+carrot+apples) and other temperings .. we use soy yogurt the one prepared at home...from scratch..cuz i don't use store bought food items / convenient foods into my body..unless I'm starving These were the dishes i grew up eating.. so it can be different for you.. so prepare a chart of essentials.. I make sure that i eat atleast two servings of protein rich dish (any two.. like it can be chana masala in the morning and khichdi for lunch or dinner)
