I have several pyro characters, but back when I was in the Crimson Witch domain I was farming for Lavawalker too, because Klee is my main and I think Lavawalker Klee is far superior to reaction Klee. To this day, my Lavawalker Klee clears domains faster than my Wolf Gravestone wielding Diluc

Atleast you need lavawalker. I leveled up Diluc, Hu tao, Yanfei and Xiangling at the same time. I barely have one somewhat decent set. Luckily I don't use Yanfei anymore and Xiangling is better with the EoSF, I hate that place so much.

Quick Tip: Sometimes u may get desmotivated to farm a set, u keep farming the same domain over and over for weeks or months but the piece u want never appears, and u may feel like u re stuck in place, where u never get better not matter how much u farm, when that happens, try mixing artifact farm. Personally, I've been farming Viri set for Sucrose for over a month now (Yes, I know, Sucrose is technically easy to build, the problem is that the game simply doesnt want to give me a circlet or a goblet with EM main stats), and I felt like I was stuck forever in that domain, so I took a step back, and started mixing artifact farm, one day, I was going to farm Viri Set, the other day, I was going to farm Emblem, and it was so much better, so, if u feel desmotivated or stuck, like how I did, try doing that mixing. Edit: Also, If u dont wanna farm two different sets, u can also mix others things, like talent or/and ascend materials, when I was trying to crown my Kazuha's elemental skill I did something like that: On Mondays, Thursdays -> Viri Set On Tuesdays, Fridays, Sundays -> Kazuha Talent Book On Wednesdays, Saturdays -> Emblem Set That way, even if u get nothing from the Artifact farm, u would still get a little bit stronger by leveling up talents or ascending characters, and u would feel like u re progressing into the game, slowly but surely. Edit 2: Today, 11/06/21, I finally got the EM Viri Hat I wanted for my Sucrose, im so happy, I wish yall the same luck.

I'd also like to add the artifact reroll system in the crafting table. You can dump all your bad 5* for Noblesse. So essentially you're farming for 3 different sets.

I managed to get my Bennett geared up with the artifact reliquary but it took so long and so many artifacts. It isn't really worth it, unless you really need a noblesse set but do not have time and resource for the domain.

AR57 here. It's good but I still don't recommend it. If you want Noblesse, it's better to just go directly to the domain and exchange the Bloodstained pieces for Noblesse pieces. For resin, it's much more rewarding to focus investing on your current main dps and getting offsets because your supports don't need specific artifacts unless you're talking about sucrose/kazu/venti. Others like Xiangling and Xingqiu don't really care about what sets they are using as long as you have the substats and my Xiangling can already do 50k pyronados without CWOF and EOSF.

Even if there is a 4pc effect that boosts plunge atk dmg, it still wouldn't be a huge upgrade from 2pc VV 2pc glad/shimen since he already has a huge plunge atk bonus from his burst. Before shimen came out, many thought it would be a huge upgrade but in reality it wasn't as big as people thought it was, even if you don't take the energy reduction into account.

I was only farming emblem for my Raiden without caring too much about it and you'd be surprised how many crit shimenawa circlets I've gotten literally 6 (half crit %/crit dmg) each having crit subs, er or em (or both) and flat hp or hp% which i just now realized can also be used for hu tao who I intentionally farmed crimson witch sets for and i keep getting trash subs (still no pyro dmg cup after 4 months) i think this is a clear sign im using shimenawa from now on 😹😹

If I could recommend one thing for newer players. Use daily resin on domains but use your fragile resin exclusively on talents and bosses that actually improve your account. You may get lucky and get a few pieces but the vast majority of us will get nothing but fodder. If you spend fragile on talents and books etc you will always be improving your account. I did spend 20 fragile when I turned 45 in VV domain to give complete sets to two anemo characters.

I disagree, I think you are better off using your daily resin for steady progression and using your fragiles to supplement that for the artifacts that will be a pain to add on top of that (past the point where you get guaranteed golds, before that, I recommend just hoarding fragiles till that point)...Even when you get bad artifacts, it will just be fodder for the good ones you get, so you are making progression, it just doesn't feel that way as the progression isn't as linear as upgrading characters...as a low spender/f2p, you will get more artifacts worth rolling than you will the artifact xp to roll them....the system is designed (to increase retention and playtime) so that upgrading artifacts is a greater power increase than upgrading talent/character levels past a certain point

So when i am done ar 45 i can spend abt 45 frag resin+5 condens to break artif domain that i want. Want crit? I have food, at least food is good for me until i can get NRE item

I think you forgot about using the Artifiact "recycler" feature at the alchemy table. You can take your fodder and re roll them to Noblesse pieces. thus essentially eliminating the need for that domain and still get noblesse oblige

Exactly what I do. I don’t need bloodstained chivalry. I have no one who is built as physical dmg. So I don’t do the noblisse /bloodstain domain, instead I use the horrible 5 stars artifacts (no crits) and recycle them for noblisse. I only use 4 star - 1 star artifacts to level up artifacts. A little slower but I also grind for free fodder artifacts too. Since I started doing this about a month ago, I have 3 really good noblisse almost all rolled into crit rate and crit dmg.

I haven’t left this domain since the day it came out. Basically farming artifacts for all my resin every. Single. Day since it came out. Other than some event stuff that grants bonuses and such. Doing this domain and using the strongbox for nobelesse is a great way to gear EVERYONE. As well as you get some glad pieces from abyss/world bosses whenever those needs to be done. I do hope though that they will rotate the strong box at some point with viridescent venerer so we don’t need to go into the sh**hole that is maidens domain..

Something I need to say about lavawalker, is that it’s great for those who proc reactions on pyro, so essentially units who consistently melt or vaporise being cryo or hydro, the 2pc does suck but it is low-key great on like a melt ganyu (4 wanderers gives 30% dmg% and 80 EM which is like I believe 10-15% extra dmg%, lavawalker gives 35% dmg% which is like 5-10% off, something which 3-4 good substats could overcome).

After I spend all my resin in the artifact domain I reroll them in the crafting bench for noblesse pieces. It's true that it's not efficient but if I ever need more artifact exp exp I can just buy it in the Serenitea pot since I don't need anything else other than the resin and mora. Also I don't think you should worry about artifact exp since you get 4* artifacts in the domain that you can feed to your good artifacts anyways, holding on to your 5* artifacts won't change your chances of getting good artifacts so why not reroll them just in case you get a piece or 2 that can actually be an upgrade to your current artifacts.

The thing that's really helped me with this domain is just getting a couple of good goblets. Having an on set goblet makes building characters so much more flexible. And unlike, say, getting a hydro damage goblet on the crimson witch set, whatever element you get it can be useful for some character. This is true for both sets in the domain! Obviously it depends on the account what combinations will actually be useful, but the chances are so much improved.

Rates are not abysmal, they're the same. What's different is that rng differs from person to person. I have managed to get one 4 pc shimenawa locked, my baal is geared, and xiangling in barely a month since I started 15 days after baal came out. So yeah, luck is subjective, I would say I had worse days in crimson witch

Quick tip for people running tartaglia/childe with the reminesence 4 piece set, along as u have a decent amount of energy recharge, use the range version of his burst as this returns some of the energy so when u activate ur skill afterwards u will still get the buff. Its literally a win win since u can still use a very strong burst and also get one of the best buffs an artifact can give

What he actually means: He means to say that if you grind this one domain which has very useful artifacts for almost every supports & sub burst DPS character, you can exchange most of the artifacts you don't need in Mystic offering. So, while you grind one domain for to build your support, you are also in the mean time grinding for other character's artifacts sets. So it's actually hitting 2 birds with 1 stone... i mean 2 characters(DPS & support) with 20 resin (in long run).

The biggest problem I've found with farming for Crimson Witch and Thundering Fury is that you get Lavawalker or Thundersoother at roughly 3-1 odds. For every other Domain the split between sets seems roughly 50/50, however with those 2 Domains you are vastly more likely to get pieces from the set you don't want.

The good thing about artifacts is, if you still have tons of bad artifacts, there`s still the possibility to recycle them with the alchemytable into for example noblesse oblige, maybe not rly efficient, but better then start burning resin to get that artefactset by farming ^^

Been farming Heart of Depth for Childe since it was his rerun and his artifact substats lack crit rate. All I got was some great Blizzard Strayer for may imaginary Cryo DPS..

He says that you'll just passively get good stat'd artifacts while farming the other xD... I don't inherently disagree but after farming Emblem for literally weeks on end after it came, for Raiden. I managed to get a mere 2 halfway decent pieces on Shimenawa and 4 pieces for Emblem that were specific FOR Raiden because she doesn't need an Electro cup but rather a Atk% cup when wielding Engulfing Lightning. So not only did I not manage to find a single decent elemental cup for literally any character, I could only find a single decent Atk% for Raiden. I found a single usable Flower and Plume... For Raiden. And I found a Crit Rate head piece. The only other two "usable" pieces were an Elemental Mastery sands and crown that I just kinda tossed on the Traveler because EM is mostly useless on the majority of my teams. I honestly prefer seeing Def% to seeing EM gains but because main stat EM is so rare, I decided to keep them for potential future use on... Someone. Idk. Again, I don't do EM teams. I farmed for weeks, with resin refreshes every single day. And all I had to show was 6 pieces of of Emblem and 2 pieces of Shimenawa. I've had more success in farming Crimson Witch over a single week long period than I have with either the Pale Flame/ Tenacity sets or the Shimenawa/ Emblem sets. I sweat to fucking god, they intentionally made the drop rates worse for new domains compared to the already awful drop rates of the old ones. And that isn't even getting into the substats. Holy fuck... The substat rolls on these fucking things are awful. I FINALLY manage to find a Flower that starts with all 4 stats with both Crit stats and it rolls flat DEF all 5 times on its way to Lvl. 20? And yet... Here I am, still throwing Resin at Pale Flame because my Xinyan needs a shiny new 2pc to replace Gladiator and Zhongli wants his 2pc Tenacity. And then I go back to ascending characters till I have the stomach to pour the rest of my Resin into Emblem again and then the new DEF artifact after that that come out with Itto and and Gorou. I'm losing my mind. This game has me hostage.

Because, the drop rates are rigged af. I think the more you farm the same domain over and over again the more you get the same useless pieces you got before. My theory is that the game tracks what pieces you got before and if you keep doing the same domain it keeps giving you the same useless pieces. Other things that I realised: Circlets have a much much lower drop rate compared to other pieces (crit rate and EM circlets are the most uncommon) and HP and DEF sands are around 3x more common compared to atk, EM, and ER sand.

ive been farming crimson for hu tao's rerun recently and holy crap. ive considered running 4pc shimenawa purely because of a) how long it takes to kill the enemies b)i already have 2 good pieces of shimenawa

You should switch I have c1 hutao crismon witch set 60.2% crit rate 222.1 crit dmg but my shiminawa set gives 64.2 crit rate 247.6 crit dmg and I got it so easily that crimson set took me months. I’m running staff of Homa as the weapon

iv done this since i was at ar40 for 3 months now and have 3shimenawa sets and about 5 fate sets it's just very good compared to everything else lamao i clear almost everything in the abyss too with it(27-30stars) cause if mobile lag and 300ms lol but its just a great boost to power .

I think anyone with at least something between their ears would have realized this already. tbh it's broken in the sense that it has diminished the other artifacts. maybe this is intended by mihoyo and something in the future would "balance" by power creeping over Momiji-dyed court, so people will farm the new domain for the flavor of the patch artifacts.

starting next patch, they would start releasing taylor-made artifacts for future characters. the next domain will favor 3 Geo characters + Healers (especially Kokomi) but tbh, this domain covers most of the meta units now (i mean the quick swap teams)

I'm not sure with Shimenawa for Childe especially when most of his rotation ends with him using his burst. Then you won't have enough energy to proc the 4-piece effect of the artifact for the next rotation. I still think HoD is the best for the man-child.

TBH, it's recommended to start his rotation with ranged Q because of the energy refund and faster animation. Using melee Q will increase your E's cooldown and it has a longer casting animation. But yeah, for an all around playstyle and more than one rotation (per Abyss chamber), 4-pc HoD is still stronger for the ginger man.

15 energy is easy to farm. For me just use his range burst instead, He is the enabler for xiangling, so no problem. The 50% bonus still higher than 30% hod

There’s something I thought you would mention and it is the fact that u could actually get noblesse artifacts (if u need them) by farming the emblem/shimenawa domain which’s via the artifact strongbox. By using the bad artifacts u get to turn them into noblesse artifacts. And that’s it u never want to enter the noblesse domain again :)

My Hu Tao will be wearing Gucci, not Walmart Shimenawa! CW may not be as "resin efficient" even though there is the strongbox or you can use the crap pieces as lvl up fodder but the 4pc set is worth it and won't gimp your ult. Don't be stingy and put in the time, she deserves the best!

One important thing to remember is that in a lot of situations, 4-pc shimenawa can be a DPS loss. More often than not, 2-pc Shimenawa + another 2-pc is better, even if you're doing lots of charge attacks. The reason for that, is that if you're playing Childe and HuTao correctly, a decent portion of their damage still comes from their Burst. And 4-pc Shimenawa makes energy management "clunky". That is, if you use your burst before your E, you risk not getting the buff at all, but if you use your E before your burst, you might not have enough energy to actually use the burst. The main exception to that is Melt Ganyu, which because she wants to guarantee melts with her charge shots, most often doesn't use her Burst at all. In that situation 4-pc Shimenawa is great. That said, the damage difference to 4-pc Wandering Troupe is really small, and Wandering Troupe has "no caveats".

A better alternative title: If you want to save resin, just get lucky, forehead. For real though, you could've got better artifacts in so many other domains and built most of your characters before getting a single good artifact from emblem and Shimenawa, which means you weren't saving your resin at all. This is a true story by the way ;_; This system is rigged, I'm telling you.
