Brian, appreciate your grounded lifestyle and not one plugged into mind numbing tech. Workouts are insane and life tips even better. Very jealous of your "backyard" .

Sadly I completely forgot about this penny lesson. It’s amazing to hear the difference in your voice from the days where all you did was throw up vs now. You sound way healthier! It’s awesome! Thank you for this reminder! I severely needed this with everything going on in my life right now. I also have to thank you for the Minimalist Program. I bought it yesterday and I think it’s gonna be a HUGE help with how busy things are getting for me right now. Again, thank you thank you thank you! Now excuse me while I run to the bank to get a few rolls of pennys.

Still a great lesson. This type of thinking has allowed me to add grad school into what I thought was a busy schedule. The Minimalist program is helping with the workouts in a big way. Cutting back to 4 days a week helped me squeeze in 2 classes this semester. Many thanks Brian!

Wise words Brian. You should do more life lesson chats... People do focus on and chase things that don't matter.

funny thing - when i was doing 12 hour shifts i felt like i get done everything i need to...in winter, when i worked 8 hours, i really didnt felt like having much more time...just wasted all the free tim

love all the content Brian. up until 8 months ago from March till October I was in the gym 4 times a week and training for races(bicycle) anywhere from 6 to 12 hrs every week. October to marcj it's still be the gym 4 times a week. plus a full time and family. also trying to get a woodworking business up and running. I tried to be a good dad and husband but I was miserable. finally came to the realization that I hated cycling. told the wife I was starting a home gym and quitting riding. now I workout 5 days a week but 1.5-2hrs a day. work full time and do the woodworking on the side. definitely dedicate way more time to family and everyone is happier.

Great lesson Brian, I recently started studying online with the Open University, they suggest you need 16 hours a week for study, after doing a weekly time audit I found I had almost 30 hours a week free.

This is actually one of my favorit videos brian, everytime I got a co-worker or ex training partner that complains about time to train, I show them the penny video lol, amazing eye opener, thanks for the content :)

I think there is always time to fit in a workout. 2 kids here, cooking for all , spending some time with them and private business with 10 hour work a day. And still manage to train 1 hour a day and keep clean diet. It all comes to willpower and how much are you willing to give to reach your goals 👍 Stay strong all 🔥💯

Brian, this video was a life hanger back then and it still is. I am actively teaching people the penny ways to find time all the time. This is the way to explain like you would a 5 year old. Very confronting. Stay strong Brian. You at every inspirational.

it's definetly not weird to give at least 40 hours for a school week. regular school hours are 9:00-15:00, 6 hours a day times 5 is 30. and there is way more time in homework than 10 hours. especially if youre bad at repetitive tasks that homework is.

Since a complete sleep cycle is 90 minutes, I prefer to sleep either 6 or 7.5 hours. I get up 2hrs before work, and 4days of those 5 I train 40-80mins. Sunday mornings I get 2hrs to spend on legs, and 40mins at night for the OHP. I work 50-55/week, cook my 12meals, do my own laundry, and Saturdays are my days off of any work. Priorities and discipline says yes you can!
