@ipsojure21377 жыл бұрын
Tinkula well they don't get the money themselves. so why risk getting in trouble with angry russian when you could just sit in your warm car and do nothing?
@Tinkula7 жыл бұрын
Yeah in Finland police will find any excuse to write you a ticket because they are desperate for money, even if they don't get it themselves. It still makes them look good among their peers and that brings other benefits. I guess the biggest difference is that people are extremely unlikely to assault you if you give them a ticket.
@Enkabard7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, over here were police officers stationed on crosswalks 2 meteres long where even cars can't go and they ticket anyone who dares to not wait for green light. It's like a fuckin money trap by police, nothing else.
@rodney1001007 жыл бұрын
yea i really dont get that, alot of places police have a number of tickets they have to write per week and i would think sitting next to a group like this to be the perfect opportunity, every time someone drives up bam you get to write a ticket, for the next few mins you just sit in your car, would be the easiest tickets ever

Just until last year in Romania, parking on the sidewalk was permitted if it leaves 1 m of space for pedestrians. No one obeyed this rule leaving little to no space for pedestrians. And the police didn't write tickets either. Now this year in January the new Traffic Code changed and states that parking on the sidewalk is prohibited if there isn't a marked area meant for parking, and they can be lifted by the "tow sharks". Finally some change towards normality, even though we'll still see douchebags parking on the sidewalk or in the second lane just to save 5 minutes of walking. Keep doing a great job teaching douchebags a lesson.

About the part of "get a job"... there are few areas in the police force that actually successfully funds it self. as per comment by Boras Dashcam: A great idea would be to provide legal papers for filming in public & traffic codes. Drivers could challenge what you write down yourself as being "official", you should also include the URL links to the official web pages, so drivers can "easily" do their own research, even on their own "not so" Smart Phones as they sit in their cars on the sidewalk. You could also just bring the actual traffic code manual & civil code books, but URL might still be preferred Printing it on the stickers &/OR the sticker backing would make it Very easy to distribute to drivers instead of pamphlets or books saving on cost & risk of being damaged.. like cameras.
