That's not calcium deposits. That's lime deposits they put lime in the water to keep metal pips from rusting. Keep up the good work Ron. Love the family oriented atmosphere of your videos.

Lime is the colloquial term for calcium carbonate or calcium oxide so both of you are correct on that. It is easily dissoved in water, so it is a natural component of hard water.

Ron you got a roof and gutters..... collect the water in totes which are painted black so no UV light gets into them and use that water for your pressure washer ..... this way you have clean water without minerals :-) Works like a charm for us.

What a lovely old lady hiding in that unit. I can understand why he was going to restore her, I had the 1980 Caprice Classic Coupe version of this car. It was like driving the sofa and I never worried about accidents. I miss that beast and if I could find another in as good shape as this one, I'd restore her too! Ron, you never cease to amaze me with your skill moving all these huge vehicles around.

I was gonna suggest the same, or maybe a piece of 1" flat bar that only overlaps about 1/8" or 1/4" over the edge. Just enough to catch the edge of the deck under tension.

Ron, Here's a thought: Get the dimensions of your rollback and get some flatplate steel with D-Rings installed accordingly to your specifications and have some ½ inch square tubing welded accordingly to reinforce the plate and have steel casters on the bottom then you could lay it flat (lengthways) perpendicular to your rollback then once a vehicle is on it you could spin it around outside and load it (get a patent on it)

Good Job again in smaller spaces. I work for NAPA in St. Paul, MN. and we just yesterday got in our new collectable magnets and they added ornaments this year also. I have not seen what it looks like but this year we have Mater This year and baby Yoda. When I heard we have Mater I thought excellent and then thought of you. You might want to check out your local NAPA store and see what the Mater. I think my boss said that the baby Yoda is a ornament. The Mater might be also. Like I said I did not yet look at the items for my self yet so I am unable to say if Mater is an ornament or a magnet. Knowing that you like that character I wanted to send you a message about these items. Continue being safe on every call you go on Ron/Midwest Truck Crew.

I've saw a driver try and pick up a car with the older style tow truck. He was able to pull out and make the swing. Missed it by less than a foot. He had the keys but it wouldn't run so they pushed it out by hand then picked it up. I remember thinking, "Y'all should have done that in the first place." Often those cars cost more than they're worth to fix.

Hello Ron!! Yes those storage units do have somewhat limited access! and its a pain with larger vehicles but not impossible! I have a 1999 Ford F350 4X4 4 door and a 28 foot trailer that I used to have to go to one particular storage area where I kept some stuff and equipment and it was a pain to get the trailer lined up with the door of the unit where I could unload and load things as needed. You done a great job with this one and as always a good video! John Bellas KC2UVN 73's and Good luck!! 73's mean good luck and see you soon in amateur radio lingo!

Ron, you might check with the fire departments around you for any scrap jacketed hose. You could cut it into sections, split it, put it over the edge of the flat beds, protecting your cables from damage when rubbing on the edges of the flat beds. Don't know if it would be feasible, but I think it might help when used with the wood "v" block.

You might want to watch Ron's "Locate & Recover" and "Another Search & Recovery Mission" video series. They're his most Matt-like videos, both involved getting vehicles out that were stuck on muddy forest service roads, but Ron had to rely a lot more on skill and technique because he didn't have anything as offroad capable that which came close to the pulling power of the Banana Jeep at the time. His Traffic Control truck might come close but that's a newer vehicle that postdated both of those jobs.

Nicely done, I am sure that some people (that probably have never done it) will say that they could have done it with less resets. It reminds me of what I told a lady in our whs. when she first started learning to drive a fork lift. As long as you don't hit anything that your not supposed to, you done it right. ;-}} I do have an idea for your block that you where using. Use a table saw and shave off about 2.5 inches 1/4 inch deep to make a lip so that it will hold on the edge of the bed. And you can still slide it on if you need to. Seems to me like it would save some headache, of course I could be wrong as I don't do it for a living. ;-}} Have a great day!

Nice work as always, Ron. I was thinking...maybe take a router and cut a channel lengthwise along the back side of that wood block with the V in it, so you can hook it on the edge of the bed and keep it in place better? You'd leave wood on either side of the channel to let it be used flat, but that would give you another option.
