Michaels sells one like your pink tool. Where the glitter and tools for glittering tumblers are. It’s light blue handle with silicone on top. If that helps anyone, thanks, Miss E for this project I really need to make these for my goodies. Hv been watching you for quit a while now and hv made most of your neat little collages, tags, envelopes in many small sizes.. love, love ,love them all.Hope this finds you and yours healthy, and well and safe, Always with Lov, Lin

I got one of those little spatula things in the make up section of dollar tree. I use it for hot glue and to spread regular modge podge and other white glues. It’s so much easier to clean than a brush. I love this project. Hugs, treen 💜💜💜💜

I DO like this and think what you created is beautiful. I think because I know myself to be a very slow crafter with literal ADD so I tend to scatter stuff and have too many piles or "sections". I was actually inspired to pull those out for my OWN storage of goodies I make because I would be the one to knock over the nice file folder and get things unorganized or fall into a drink glass! Your project was beautiful and enjoyable to watch you create.

I love using these and often find them at thrift stores, sometimes brand new, and sometimes there are even beautiful. Not as beautiful as yours, but they would make a good starting point. Also, Dollar Tree sells a spatula for applying face masks, I believe, that looks exactly like the one you used that came with your hot glue set. I use mine to spread glue on large surfaces when I don't want to use a brush, but now you've reminded me how to use it with hot glue to avoid getting burned. ~ Lisa

Thank you "E" for this great project. To get mine to stand up well I made a chipboard front, back and bottom using black construction tape from the UK for the spines, glued the file folders to the front and back chipboard pieces, then attached 2" wide belly band squared, attached that to the front and back and it sets up beautifully. Mine has 5 expandable folders and I house my different types of dyed papers in it. I hope it was ok that I shared how I finished mine. Hugs, Donna, in California.

First time watching you. Great idea. I thought when you cut the file down for a Pocket that you would just cut it in half after that and have expandable short pockets for front and back. Anyhow since i I've worked over 2 decades for a non profit financed by its thrift store, I always recommend people look there for craft supplies and office supplies. Usually very cheap. So if Anyone Doesn't have these folders they should look at thrift stores. We got them all of the time and they'd go for .50 to a buck. I've gotten tons of craft supplies over the years for barely anything. Also books can be cheap for using pages and sheet music. Just some ideas for being frugal. Anyhow I'm gonna go find more of your videos. Happy crafting!

Your tool you use for the glue I've never seen, but at the Dollar Tree I found something that is similar that I've been using especially for hot glue. It is a makeup spatula, made of silicone. It works great. I ran across them in the makeup department while just browsing.

You are the Queen of using scraps!!! When cutting 12x12, I would cut it into 4" strips, I don't think the less of an inch will make that much difference since you are going to have so much in the pockets. This is a great idea!! I don't have file folders that are "pouches" but I can put a gusset into mine and make it work.

Could you have used a needle and thread to make the accordion affect in case your folio gets super full with receipts and papers? I have seen you have sewing machine effects and thought that could be an option as well. You are the expert. I am thinking aloud and quite possibly be making crazy suggestions. I like the idea of having a pocket on the outside of the folder beside the fact that it looks pretty. I have way too many scrapbook papers, ribbon, ephemera, etc., and I am down sizing and was wondering if you have a P.O. Box where I could send you brand new paper, ribbons, ephemera, letters that are stickers, plastic, etc., if you were interested. I have benefited from watching and enjoying your videos. You are inspiring and I enjoy your accent. You make everything look so easy but when I try to attempt what you did in your video I come up with some epic fails despite your step by step instructions. I appreciate your sharing your talents with me and the other viewers. Cheers!!! Ciao!
