Is it possible to connect the DJM-A9 with Rekordbox via USB and use both simultaneously? I have the latest version of Rekordbox but the DJM-A9 and Rekordbox aren't connecting at all via USB. Can anyone please clarify what the exact steps are?

has anyone solved the issue of the beat drift when using the roll effect DJMA9? All kinds of settings tested, and yes of course quantize is set to on in the mixer.

A premium mixer but still can’t do more than one effect at a time per channel also why not make each effect a separate button, way better than having to use that ancient knob selector that is hard to see

10yo controllers have this figured out you’d think it would be more intuitive on the basics

@@gd_xl no man. Controllers haven't figured anything out. Controllers don't have any onboard effects processing ..well except the very expensive all-in-on controllers (that don't need a computer). Controllers, especially "10yo" ones are simply a method of *controlling* software. The fx processing of a computer is far more powerful than any DJ mixer. thats why you can combine multiple effects in software like Serato, Traktor. The DJM mixers have onboard effects units which has limited processing capabilities ...(there is only so much space under the hood to fit in the circuit boards necessary). PS: Who cares about effects. FFS all amateur DJs are doing the same shit. Using effects all the time on every mix is not a good habit. First off, you all end up sounding the same cuz you're all using the effects the same way (as a crutch to cover up clashing frequencies and bad mixing). It's a bad habit because you end up becoming a Pioneer only DJ; but if put in front of an A&H Xone, or have the privilege to ever spin on an ARS 9000 or MasterSounds rotary, you will quickly learn how bad of a DJ you actually are. Stop overusing Pioneer's cookie cutter effects. And fcuk the colorFX filter! That digital filter sounds like trash compared to a true analog filter sweep with variable resonance control.
