So just got back from our trip Europe... appreciate your passion for cemeteries. i didn't realize how much i was fascinated/overwhelmed by the amount of death but also remembrance these places give. I saw these places because of you. After re-watching your 10 questions with Mr. Beat.... feels like a crime your original content doesn't get more love verse a reaction vide0 ;/ So long story short, thank you. Edit: Please keep this content going, i know i am just 1 person you inspired but you have forever changed my view on history.

Both my Great Grandfather and Great Great Uncle served with The Seaforth Highlanders. I was aware that they fought at The Somme but unaware of any other battlefields they were present at. They both received the British War Medal. Thank you for once again showing these heroes the respect and love that they and so many young men deserve. Thank you ❤. After The Great War my Great Great Uncle, Andrew Auld emigrated to the US in the 20s and went on to play for the USA soccer team at the very first FIFA World Cup. He was inducted into the US Soccer Hall of Fame in the 1970s.

Theres a Military Cross in a small museum I help out in Belonging to a Captain Thomas Crofton 6th Connaught Rangers, he earned the MC at Messiness leading a bombing party against German held trenches, feel privallaged to have his medal on display. Sadly he was killed on the 21st of March 1918 during the opening of the german spring offensive.

Since this is a story of grave sites and such. It seems more appropriate to have had an excerpt from the Cremation of Sam Mcgee.
