Wow amazing deal ! In Ireland our veggies in the shops was 49c so I got veggies and spuds to put away for next 3 weeks and two pineapples for breakfast time my son and I eat one a week .i was very happy with my Bargins at 49c veggies carrots spuds and turnips !

New subscriber. I'm a frugal KZbinr also. I get large amounts of root vegetables from the food bank. I keep my carrots 🥕🥕 wrapped in paper towels, in a bag in the refrigerator. My potatoes and onions 🧅, I just put in a boxthat has air holes all around it and put them in my garage. I stack my potatoes and onions on top of one another. I just make sure they're dry first because sometimes they get wet from the rain when I receive them. I have a box of onions and a box of potatoes. They stay good for months, especially the onions and I live in California. Mainly the onionns last the longest. I also pickle onions with a variety of spices to add them to my salads, olain rice, cottage cheese, tacos, burritos and tostadas. They're so good pickled; a must try. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄

@deedavies887 No, I definitely don't. I have a separate box for each. You're right though, the power of onions is pretty incredible. If I have a piece of fruit that's not ripe, I put it next to an onion to help ripen it. 😁🧅👍

Merry Christmas Jill, i enjoy all your content, and look forward to each new video. When I store my potatoes I layer them in cardboard boxes, with newspaper between the layers, and on top. Then boxes are then placed in a cool spot. Being in Australia that is in the lounge room, with the air conditioning on. Forecast is 35 degrees today and the same for boxing day tomorrow. Bit hot for me, I do enjoy the cooler weather. ❤❤❤

I got about 15 bags of each veg for 8p at Aldi and I'm boiling it up for turkey feed as its so much cheaper than the grain I've been using for them, I'm fattening them up for Easter. I went to Aldi late today and most of the stuff had been sold, but they had leeks at 75% off. I bought 10 packets of them, chopped them up and froze them in 2 giant ziplock bags in the freezer. Great for my stews!

YAY!! ITS CHRISTMAS 🎄 😂 but let me see... I see no presents... oh wait! A chocolate!! Oh... no.. it was a chocolate from my chihuahua because I slept in and didn't let her out in time 😂😂😂❤❤ I bought every one here MEAT because it is so expensive. I got grass fed killed on the farm ducks nuts tenderloin. It is so expensive I'm scared to eat it but the cows weren't scared by the offal truck, they died at home. My tip is use your phone. Find other businesses that do farm fresh or google a posh brand and then add "outlet". The cockatoos are giving me the pip, especially that 'one' who loves me. ❤ My children don't love me, but animals do. They give me chocolate. I have spent huge money Jill. I have ordered 3 parrot 🦜 bush. They are coming soon. They flower in winter to spring and have so much nectar that the parrots, bees, and cockatoos get DRUNK!😂😂 If Christmas is miserable then stop being miserable and find yourself a pet to love, even if it is a lady bug.
