1 cup milk
½ cup melted butter
½ cup sourdough starter or sourdough discard, they both work here.
1 teaspoon baking powder.

Canning Peaches: Makes 8 pint jars.
Ingredients:
12 pounds peeled, halved and pitted peaches
1 batch hot syrup.... Or (veteran tip) just add the sugar to each jar, and fill the rest the way with water;)
Raw Pack Method:
Prepare canner, jars and lids.
Pack peaches into hot clean jars.
Add sugar and water or hot syrup.
Leave 1/2 inch headspace (empty part of jar)
Wipe rims clean. Place lids, screw bands on to finger tight.
Place jars in canner. Bring it to a boil, then set your timer for 25 minutes for pint jars or 30 minutes for quart jars.
