Annie keep them! Just the other day I was purging my closet and I found an old 2014 journal. It was a simple notebook from Walmart. Girl it's so special made me 😭cry when I went thru it read it. was the year when I gave myself to the Lord and struggled to keep going that year. All my prayers, my HIs and Lows, very personal. Just between me and God. I keep all my journal inserts and time with God journals. Also have alot of listers gotta list. And inserts of my wellness journey goal when lost 65 pounds. I love going thru them so now I only keep what's important and dear to my heart. I even made my own pretty box. As long as I have space for them I'll keep them too. Thanks so much for sharing. God bless💗

Putting the first six months in storage is a better idea. Just because it's a new year doesn't mean that your need to reference old planner pages goes away. So keep the last six months on the shelf and save yourself the steps of going down to storage next time you need to look up something. ❤🌅🌵

Right now I am putting them on a shelf in my office. When I use travelers notebook inserts, I will pick up a carpe diem or agenda 52 Standard TN from like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Sometimes a Webster Pages to hold the inserts. Each one will hold about eight books if you are just storing them. The TN inserts and bullet journals are all I keep because that is the only time I combine memory keeping and planning. Love your system, thanks for sharing!

I both number (chronologically) and date all my standard sized inserts. It truly is immensely helpful for finding old info. I usually just keep two inserts in mine so it's easy to have two numbering systems. But when you keep multiple it could be helpful to do separate numberings.. so subject: number :)

So true! I guess I’ll have to commit to a system when I finally sit down and label them 😆

three years in a hobonichi cousin with a weeks for the purse. dramatic 2020 change!! you inspire me to get out my wonderful chic sparrow tn in the standard size. it just feels good in my hands and i have always had some kind of midori or any etsy shop that has tomoe river paper insert. I have ordered from perfect planner [planner perfect]and they are fat in comparison. I am not sure i can give up tomoe river paper, but will be trying really hard...investment isn't small. I have a plan 2020 full year and a 'notes' inserts. they are so pretty and i love jenny. here's hoping.! you make using her inserts really appealing! P.S. I save everything...even composition notebooks from years ago and random stabs at bullet journaling. Doing all my own spreads made me quit that!! anyway thanks for this video!!!

You answered my questions on what to do with my old planners. Love this idea, and have everything except the pipe cleaners. Will tie them up with yarn and place them in some boxes. Thank you for sharing all this wonderful information.❤️👵🏻

Just saw this video now and I love it! I have a question tho: Is it better to use a box that's made of cardboard than plastic boxes to keep old journals? :)

There are videos uncoiling ec planners might be a good way to keep them looking nice without keeping it all 😃

Hey Annie, I just need to share with someone that I have troubles storing my journals... They are important to me as they are more like my philosophical reflection space. I encountered a problem when I switched sizes. 2016-2020 I was placing my notes into big yearly binders (giving me a lot of freedom back then), but now I noticed that actual notebooks work better for me. And then chaos occurred because notebooks are smaller and they don't match with binders. And for a while I had my notes partially in binders, partially in notebooks and this created even more chaos!!! I don't know why I am saying this... I think I need to embrace this bit of chaos that comes with changing habits... I hope someone understands my frustration :-)

I normally don’t keep my planner.

Sure, some folks don’t. It is completely up to each person about whether there’s a want or a need to keep them ☺️
