Storm at Kiama NSW March 2, 2024

Not an ideal situation - fast moving storm, lightning striking in lots of different directions and then heavy rain/possible fog?? partially obscuring the lightning as the storm moved out to sea. A warm night with near 100% humidity ahead of a morning southerly change.

Impressive Andrew, the second still at the end was very nice. We've had a couple of good electrical storms up here this week.

Yeah Thursday night had quality lightning around your area, Michael summed it up best “you know it was good when everyone is posting decent shots taken on phones”. There was some lightning here that night too but useless because of low cloud - couldn’t see the top of cambewarra mountain (didn’t stop me trying for a miracle photo).

No I briefly tried nowra bridge then straight to Kiama. How did you go?

@@stormsandfishing5448 only do images at night these days. Did Ok, but best bolts were at Oak Flats on that fast moving line
