Colder upper temperatures further south, and better timing of southerly change - came through about 930. Last minute chase for me, was at home till I saw 630pm update of windy rain thunder was now expecting storms developing - grabbed the cameras and raced out. By the time I arrived there was flashes visible to the south

Nice canon blast of thunder near the minute mark! It does appear the season is cactus, so much so i'm just about to put together a 2023 2024 high lights video. Can't rule out one more decent day though. Lightshow at some point is likely, question is how far offshore. Hopefully next season see's a return of the October storms.

I haven't got around to editing the Nyngan chase from November and also the bolts from Hebel that were pretty good. Plus some bolts around Narrabri from last month were just decent enough to whip a video together. Some other random bits and pieces as well. Just tonnes of average footage with no top 30s or severe weather events for me has kept the motivation for editing quite low.
