Thanks for these aviation amazing moments! If take-off is difficult in windy conditions, landing remains not easy in all conditions. From this video we can conclude that the difference is not between air companies but between the pilots skills, competences and expertises.

@123456 774 apparently the A380's are too expensive to continue using. The airline companies who use them are cancelling orders or not ordering them anymore. Too big and hard to fill all the seats. It's a damn shame because they're my favorite. Hope I can ride in one someday before they're all phased out.

I've been fortunate enough to be on that 380 landing at BHX in the mornings. It was extraordinary. My house is under its flight path too, which is about 5 minutes out from the airport if on a plane, about 30 minutes by car :D I have so much respect for the staff on planes. Emirates were so lovely. Much love, light and blessings to everyone here xxx

An extraordinary sight here in Christchurch NZ the other day as an Emirates A380 was coming in to land as I was driving in the opposite direction. Yes, The Ryanair Pilots all seemed to employ the strategy of "let's go in fast and low to cut through the wind and just toss the plane down for the touchdown." They were in control enough to avoid the nose gear touching the ground first. It is actually not a terrible idea if you don't care about having to replace the brakes and tires more frequently.
