Always look forward to your video's. Such optimistic enthusiasm really cheers me up. Living in the UK I'm always in desperate need of cheering up! Yeah, I thought it would be a kawasaki too. Always forget about the rebel. I like the idea of the rebel but I really can't make my mind up about the looks. It looks good until it's got a rider on it and then it looks a bit odd. The riding position looks odd too, very cramped looking for a cruiser...

When you first mentioned it in the botanical gardens, I was hoping it would be the Kawasaki W800, but then you hinted cruiser/bobber, and, the Rebel makes total sense. Sharp looking bike; have heard good things about the smaller displacement version, so curious to hear about the 1100.

@Freddie Dobbs You bring back memories to me down at the Marina, I used to park my coach up at the train station and walked over there a few times to look at the boats. (The place didn't look much like it does in the video, it was during the 70 to 80's) That was anytime I used Harwich to the Hook of Holland, We used to arrive back from Hollland around 1pm, and I used to let the crowd off to go into the town. leave at 6pm for Holyhead for the 3am sailing.

I was tenuously interested in a Rebel 1100 until I saw one in the local dealer. Hard to tell it apart from the 500 it was parked next to. I'm sure it's a great bike - the engine is superb - but I was underwhelmed. Surely there isn't enough room on it for you. Good old school rear light set-up, Freddie. Great jacket. Only a medium? It looks really good on you. Ipswich looks a good place. I've only been through it once: on my old R1100GS in the late 90s.

As much enthusiasm and energy you show on your vids I hope you do the same in the next vid for a bike am thinking of getting. Please give it a thorough review, pros and cons of the bike...well it's a Honda so they are very reliable but just looking forward for your feedback. One thing I have to say is for 1100cc cruiser, Honda should have had a shaft drive instead of chain. Trying to maintain that chain can be a pain plus one would need a heavy due lift to work on it. Looking forward for your next vid and great to see you both back home 😊
