If you play Lead from the Front first that can assist with raising Thwart also if another xmen is in alter ego can add a boost as well then trigger the Response of Mirage. I have really enjoyed the Storm made some changes and have knocked out expert Sabretooth and all of the Mojo Mania Packs. A few moments with clunkiness with weather effects but worked around it with a Cyclops player as well.

Good review once again. I was very pleasantly suprised with storm. She is a real powerhouse, that can be played in any aspect comfortably. Although I think she is actually slightly better in solo than multiplayer due to how her weather supports affect the board. In multiplayer she takes on more of a support role. So you have to play her a bit different. And she has a bit of a high cost curve to boot. But I think those are fine, as she needs somthing to balance out how good she is all togeather. Overall a great pack. And that's just storms kit. Let alone the rest of the player cards.

The real power play with Mirage is to play her when Danger Room can put the leadership or justice training card on her to get her up to 3 THW because then the number of villains she confuses greatly increases.

Storm is fun. I like the more unique characters like this. Her weather deck is a better invocation deck where you can keep the one(s) you like in play. I just wish more of the weather effects were more consistently useful. The dual use kit cards are fantastic. You get your standard ready and resource generator kit card, but on top of that you get your +1 to a stat card. I wasn't expecting her to be a heavy damage dealer, but once the cape hits the board she's a consistent 4 dmg every turn with just her basic.

@@WisecrackJax it's better because you have complete control of it. you don't have to discard the one you're in and play one that you dont want. There is zero draw luck in which weather effect is in play or how it will affect the game state at the time.

Popular Opinion: “But if we release more than one pack per month it will confuse people and really mess up that one Canadian guy!” Caleb: “Mwa-ha ha-ha” Other than that, Storm is interesting in a twisted sort of way. I’m still waiting to see how the community uses all (repeats All - not just some) those durn weather environments.

Know what’s annoying? The fact that she doesn’t come with aerial. Like… she’s literally flying on her hero card lol. They never wanna give us aerial easily for some reason. It’s always an upgrade.

She can fly because she pushes wind in her cape, sow it is logical that she can only fly with her cape
