Storm Manhole Flooding - It lifted The Cover Off

In this video we are heading to a site it's a house on the side of a main road that has a storm manhole which has been overflowing, I attended this one the other day in the jetting van and because of the size of the pipe and distance I had to Jet I recommended that we take the combi there. we also have a bit of a catchpit to suck out so that's what we're going to go do.

It's good to watch, I know im sure there is a manhole in the middle somewhere but it almost definitely burried. I like to do a bit of a mix where I can to keep everyone happy

That was a long run of pipe, definitely likely to have a buried cover. I've seen those cast covers partly lift with storm water but never actually lift out. it must have been an incredible volume and pressure of water.

Im convinced there is a buried cover on this line, I know mad isn't it it definitely had a lot of water under it to lift it.

It has to go back as a recommendation for the customer to except the extra works, but they decided just to see how it goes

they are too heavy to get into the pipe so won't be an issue
