Great video. I like your comments about the Summit Ascent as I just happened to order one a few days ago. It'll be here tomorrow. I'm a slightly rev dominant senior bowler so it's nice to hear the Ascent may match up with me nicely. It's going in my 3-ball bag with an Attention Star and an Xponent. I also have a Hustle USA in case the Ascent and Xponent are too close to each other.

I was given a reality check that actually fit me so well it changed the way I think about my drill specs. Anyway, i was given a used pro ball which had been surfaced so many times the scribe marks were wearing down. As is it seems to be a step down but vebo like in being a long sharp ball that doesn't tend to easily over hook. How would this thing be fresh out of the box? Did I just get a good match with a possibly burnt ball and my 17.5mph, 325 rpm 30-40 degrees of axis rotation game? Or does the ball have that sweet combination of charge and hold, which I also see with the much earlier medium hooking Optimum Idol

I think the ball was dying at that point, because the Check is supposed to hook fairly early

I think it fits in the medium/sharp category, but could drop to the weak/sharp depending on the layout

Another great and helpful video ZVL. I am looking to round out my arsenal Would the VEBO be a good ball in between the BW 3 0 and Phaze 2 or would the Harsh Reality Pearl or DNA Coil or Vaporize be better? 17.2mph/375rpm 1 handed lefty. Also, should I swap out my Duo for the Phaze AI for the medium sharp slot in the bag? Or would a Stealth Hybrid be a better option? Your thoughts are appreciated.

What are your thoughts on the overall strength difference between the Arctic Vibe and IQ Tour? I got a vibe from a ball demo and to me it's strong enough to be a bottom benchmark ball i.e. useless in my bag. My bottom two are a 3000 grit hustle wine pin down, early core angle for weak smooth, and the same ball just polished and more angular drilling/taller pin.

I think the Arctic is a little earlier but MUCH smoother than the IQ

It’s in the strong/smooth slot, so I’d look toward a strong/pearl and a medium/smooth to fill your bag

I know they dont make them anymore but how do u feel about the electrify pearl? I have one and i hit it with 500 then 2000 surface and i can play from pretty deep during transition. I did have to take the reacta gloss off tho

The Electrify line was one of storms best low-end lines! Good choice to take the shine off - that generally makes weaker balls more usable

Hey brother so I have a harsh reality pearl I love it. But I want something I can step down I been thinking on attention star pearl or the ion also open to other suggestions what would you recommend ? I’m a 2 handed bowler my speed is about 15 to 17 max whit a mid rev rate

The Attention Star will be about 2-5 boards less hook, while the Ion Pro will be at least 5-10 so it’ll depend how different you want it to be!

The Attention Star is Roto Grip so I’ll be covering that in our Roto-only arsenal, and I do mention the Coil as a fantastic strong/sharp ball. IMO, it’s not as versatile as the VEBO
