Storm & Panthers Grand Final! Sydney Roosters 0-6 against the Top 4! - NRL Finals Week 3 Review 2024

You guys didn't disappoint putting Roosters on blast. Here's another thing, out of roosters 3 tries, 1 came from being up a player and 1 came from a Storm unforced error right on the try line, my grandma could have scored that try and she's been dead for 20 years. So Roosters only scored 1 legit try where they outplayed Storm. The so called best attacking team in the comp could only score 1 try off their own bat in a Prelim final.......that's pathetic, especially considering the talent they have. Full credit to my Storm boys, fought through that period of 10 minutes with player in the bin and 4 penalties in a row and only conceded once. Then when we finally started getting the ball and getting into our rhythm, we took control of the contest and smashed them off the park. We beat them through the middle, we beat them on the sides, we beat them in the air, they couldn't stop us.

Boys enjoy the poddy. I love that Penrith played poorly. Exactly what they needed. They will be billed as the underdogs and go into the grand final with everyone writing them off just like last year. Everyone is already giving Storm their flowers. This will fuel those Penrith boys. At the end of the day defense wins championships.

I have just started watching, hope you absolutely TORCH the chooks. Sharks did better than I thought they would, but Penrith made a lot of mistakes and Sharks could have won, but they made even more mistakes.

Storm have beat the Panthers twice this year with an understrength team. I think this year's grand final will be tough but the cream (Storm) will rise to the top. Considering Panthers have not put a full 80 minute performance this whole finals series makes me think they've lost their touch slightly. People say they will peak in the grand final but I think this is their peak honestly. Panthers are not the same team from previous years. On the other hand, Storm have basically cruised through this year. Now that they are actually getting serious with their games, teams are getting blasted off the field.
