Storm Prep: Why did I just change out a perfectly good AC capacitor?

Swapped out the cheap original Chinese 2 year old capacitor with a fresh American made quality capacitor. I did this after installing my Siemens FS140 whole house surge suppressor in an effort to reduce future headaches at inconvenient times. Again, this channel is more about mindset vs. "how to" although sometimes we will do a how to video IF there isn't a proper video on youtube. I won't "redo" another persons material.
