I think it's because the stitch pattern resembles stormy clouds and rain, and the original design by petiteknit was in a light gray color. That's my best guess!

Don’t you feel guilty using cashmere yarn when it’s so painful for the animal getting the fleece? Hate cruelty to animals so bad!

@@ninlh.8950 If you read up on the internet about cashmere goats you will find that the pain and cruelty caused to the animals is appalling. What is wrong with using wool? I would never use any yarn that causes such terrible pain and cruelty and a lot of the time death!
