Great ride. I'm really curious how you would cope in a real car, or preferably in a car converted into an FPV drone so that you can control it remotely without risk. The game's physics simulation is good, but certainly not perfect. I'm curious what the differences are, I'm sure game developers would also find it useful.

@@isakillo You obviously don't know anything about the history of rally. If you did, than you know that Group B makes rallycross and modern day WRC look like go-karts. Group B cars were equipped with highly tuned engines that produced immense power for their size. They were turbocharged engines that delivered over 500 HP, allowing them to achieve incredible speeds. The regulations at that time allowed for lightweight construction materials to be used in the cars, contributing to their impressive power-to-weight ratios. This enabled quicker acceleration and higher top speeds on rally stages. These are just some reasons why Group B are the fastest cars in the history of rally. It's called the 'Golden Age of Rally' for a reason. And since Storm RX does not deserve to be spammed with worthless discussions under his videos, this discussion is now over.

Whats ur Opinion on EA WRC so far, is it enjoyable or do u still prefer Dirt Rally? Also how would u rate BeamNG Rally Stages in terms of realism, like is it comparable to dirt rally?

To be honest I really like it! I’d say I maybe still slightly prefer DR2 but both games are a lot of fun in my opinion. BeamNG has so much potential for rally as the car physics (as you probably know) are incredible. It needs a bit more work to bring it to the level of the stages in DR2 or WRC though, seems like it’s getting more attention though so wouldn’t be surprised if it really starts to excel in the next couple years 🙂

Not a bad run, but it does seem the car is a bit unstable when landing and taking some corners. Rotation is good, but you lose time when used excessively or in an inconsistent angle. The tail of your car was a bit over the place at times.

Yeah this run felt like one big crash that never quite happened 😆 I do play RBR, have done a couple videos on it. It’s a really great game, will likely do more content on it at some point 🙂

I wish they would have put more care into the physics and controls of the Dirt series, especially 4...it's garbage. Dirt 1 on 360 was my favorite. Can't justify that nice rig you have there atm. Great driving!

I actually don’t think Dirt Rally 1 or 2 have bad physics for the most part. Tarmac isn’t great so agree there, but gravel is decent. Dirt 4 is more of an arcade title so yeah also agree the physics there aren’t the best! Thanks for the comment man, appreciate it!

Meh dirt rally is just arcade with extra difficulty, like NFS Prostreet. It's still very fun which is why we play it

Does this game have modded cars, or is it only the liveries? i'm on ps4, so I don't know how far modding has gone for it. Also I doubt I could ever get to that level of speed in finland without becoming one with the trees.

As far as I know, it’s just the liveries and that you can use the RX cars on normal stages. I haven’t tried going any further than that 😆
