unknown incognito You can punch really hard with it on. Gauntlets in the past were used to protect the hand and, if necessary, use them as a form of brass knuckles during combat. So yes, the gauntlet is a very powerful weapon and was even made out of the same material storm breaker and Mjolnir. Without the stones it can kill someone on impact, especially if someone as strong as Thanos uses it.

Hugh Kirkpatrick I was thinking that too! The thing is though, despite how Thanos wielded it in Endgame, such a weapon of its proportions and size would be absolutely terrible for a human to try and use. It’s length and weight distribution would render it heavy and far too slow to be of use. But in the hands of The Mad Titan it was fookin beast!

After seeing Avengers: Infinity War, I have been searching to see if anyone had made a close enough realistic version of Stormbreaker and I must say that when I stumbled upon this series a few days ago, I was not disappointed. After this video I watched a variety of videos from the MAN AT ARMS series of things they built from games and movies I am interested in and now I have just watched the Stormbreaker build video for a second time. It was meant for MAN AT ARMS to attempt building this weapon. A king's weapon. A weapon that in theory, can summon the bifrost. The weapon...... Stormbreaker! Although I wish MAN AT ARMS had their own KZbin channel, I am now subscribed to AWE me and I'm very excited for the next Reforged video!

Stormbreaker is made from Uru, it's a metal that the Dwarves of Nidavellir mine from the heart of a dying star (while using it's heat and power to smelt it.) While not as hard or as strong as Adamantium or Vibranium, It's a metallic stone pores are capable of storing and multiplying energy like a battery or a capacitor. So when Thor channels his power in to it, it becomes increasingly more, and more powerful. Interestingly enough, Stormbreaker was made for Beta Ray Bill by Odin in the comics after he returned Mjolnir to Thor when saving his people. A suit of Iron Man armor was even made of Uru by Tony Stark, and it was used to harness the power of Thor's lightning, and Odin's magic in the comics.
