Kasuki here, the grandmaster sojourn player with just 20 hours of experience on her. Thank you spilo for taking the time to review my VOD, I will take your insights and work on them more while playing her. Here's the summary to anyone who's trying to learn sojourn from my VOD : - Work on railgun micro and be discipline. - Importance of using slide for repositioning, engaging, and disengaging. - Utilize slide for taking better angles on enemies. - Work on peeking angles. - less time railing on tank and 100 charged rail shot on squishes. - committed to dive techniques rather being lazy. if there's anything else missing please critcize me in the comments I'd appreciate the feedback.

9:17:04 - I personally have found that it can be beneficial to hold your rail a *tiny* bit longer against genji/tracer/sombra. The mere existence of your rail is a massive threat to them and it's especially easy to take a duel with a tracer, and win, if you purposely held your rail to force said duel. But, once again, that's just an additional part of the sojourn playstyle anyway. It's just particularly effective versus squishy flankers. Also, the reason to use blink on shift instead of right click, is binding pulse bomb to right click. It can make it easier to land.
@arrowtongue Жыл бұрын
I personally found I do best with right click bound to melee on Tracer, you use it on her so much more than any other hero so having it readily available all the time goes a long way.

I know you're not much of a Reaper fan, but the guy works really well for me, and this vid helped me figure him out a lot better. I've just not been TPing as much as I should. I typically try to play with my team, but your tips hit home. I went into some games and made a point to just constantly be trying to TP behind the enemy team, and suddenly I was STEAMROLLING. Peeking out, blasting some squishies, maybe get a kill, maybe not... but people FEAR the Reaper, so when they know I'm there, I can visually tell they are incredibly distracted by my presence. Or maybe people commit to try chasing me and I can lure them into an easy duel with my health pack support. And the difference is extraordinary. I might try some other DPS using this video's info, too. Love your content!

For Tracer, I always use right click for blinks, and shift for pulse bomb. Having pulse on shift means you can still WASD any direction without having to momentarily swap fingers off a movement key to use pulse bomb, making it much more reliable and convenient to use pulse during high-pace plays where you're dodging things/maneuvering at the same time. Blinks on right click is first of all because it's convenient to always have a finger free for it no matter what, and you can weave in crouch and ad spam without risking messing up when you wanna time a blink. On top of this, left hand is already doing a lot movement wise with all fingers, so relieving some of that to a hand that only focuses on pointing the crosshair is in my experience more efficient. I don't see it as a problem to have aim and blink on the same hand, because you never blink while shooting anyways so at most you're doing target re-acquisition which is less fine-mechanic dependent and more core muscle memory, and not something I ever find to be affected by clicking right click once in a while. All in all it just feels more synergetic and naturally flowy this way.

@@Vizorfam mouse dpi at 1600 and in-game sens 3.75 % I started out higher, around 4.5 % sens but have since gradually lowered it. I found this the sweet spot for myself and my playstyle which is very dynamic but not super arm-movement based (I do use my arm for aiming, but not as much as other high-pace players out there). If you use your arm a lot in movement then a lower sens may be better, but again I'd say it's largely personal preference. If you can keep your aim smooth and accurate when tracking medium-pace movement, then you're good.

@AarPlays Жыл бұрын
One tip for tracer is also RESPECT DAMAGE. If you're coming from say, mei, or a tank, you can often cryo freeze later or shield late because of your hp pool. On tracer, if you're not respecting damage you will die before you have a chance to recall. Every. Time. Mercy is arguably one of the hardest counters to tracer, but in a roundabout fashion. Her blue beam breaks A LOT of 1 shot breakpoints against tracer. Widow, hanzo, soldier rockets, junkrat bombs, pharah rockets etc all become 1 shot body shot murder machines. If you respect damage, this forces you to play more "dodgy" and recall before you're low potentially saving you from dying. You should always be poking *if the enemy knows you're there*. Dont let them NOT look at you. Supports like ana and kiri can get greedy because they know youre an easy target for them, this pulls them away from the tank fight and, even if you do die, you won the team fight because their tank died from no healing. However, if you're setting up a flank, dont poke. Wait for the engagement to happen then either 1) mosquito and distract or 2) double blink in to secure a kill and recall out if needed. Burning all of your cool downs, safely, to make sure someone dies is 100% worth it. Regarding binding: Right click blink, shift for recall. Having recall on shift means you dont have to move any fingers to hit the button. This essentially your panic button, and the time it takes to hit e from wasd can be the difference between that cass hitting you or not.
