Hello Stormi! I might be a little late but I just recently made my own original species! They are called Driffins, a mix of Griffins and Deer. They basically have the body and front paws/claws of a Griffin and the back legs are hooves. They have a deer tail, antlers and spots like baby deer :3

That intro with the autotuned furries song by Omnom is amazing! I think you should keep that! As for the video itself, I liked how this video had a similar structure to your unique and uncommon fursonas video. All the information was presented well, and I really liked it! II never knew about wickerbeasts so it was cool to learn about something new! definitely think you should make a part 2, and do a video about Dutch Angel Dragons with that special collab you have in mind! Very cute suit and nice video! I've been rather hard on myself lately, well, I don't know.. I've just been looking to get my Confonster species more recognition; as much as possible. It would be the best thing ever to see your own species take off and then many people are creating there own characters from your species. I have a small community with Confonsters but I'm passionate about the species and I'm happy with how far they're coming along. Tavern suggested to talk about lesser known original species and I think that'd be great!

I was thinking a rabicorn (rabbit unicorn dragon) mix, but also thinking of a few others like a liram (lion and ram mix) and a wofer (wolf deer mix) but a wanna ad snake or another reptile in. I’m still trying to flesh them out. Mixing anatomy isn’t easy but I’m sure I’ll find something cool.

I love making new species. So far, they're largely fusions of creatures. There's natural hybrids like the now-extinct(in lore) Dracowolves(dragon-wolf thing of unknown origin), but most are artificial. There's the shrats(Shark-rats)and Droggos(dragon-dog-human hybrids- created in an attempt to bring back the Dracowolves, but using dog DNA so they're less dangerous, and human DNA because Dracowolves are naturally anthropomorphic).

id recommend going more into depth about what a closed vs open species is! it can be a bit chaotic having to explain to people that no, they sadly cannot make a character the same species as a closed species character, so having a video to easily link to them would be very helpful!

My original species, which I've never posted online,are Dragon like beings with fur and long tails,horns,sharp teeth,large fluffy ears,claws,and tend to have markings,a longer tongue and a long muzzle. My original species is the Zodiac creatures. Each Zodiac Creature has different features for each breed. They come in all different colors ranging from warm colors to cold colors. The Species rely on the owners full cooperation and willingness to tell me their birthday, favorite color(s), whether or not they want patterns on their fursona, birth year, and everything else. If the owner of the creature tells me to go all out on it, they better be ready for me to go crazy with the design.

I have 3 original species, all open. One I actually came up with in the middle of the night and didn't sleep for the rest because all I could think of was a bunch of ideas back to back for the species. The species I own are xrists (6 pawed nocturnal feral mammals that can be either omnivorous or herbivorous), canifars (alternate universe dogs that are slowly evolving similar to humans), and Faebexes (the one I stayed up making, Libra-based canine-bat-like alien creatures that are mainly similar to the flying fox bat and the Bat-Eared Fox).
