It sweeps in like a wave at random etimes, and he has no control over that whatsoever. But it's impossible to say that this struggle isn't a very central focus of the majority of his chapters.

I don't want to spoil anything, I don't know if you've read it yet and I'm only like 1/4 of the way through. But all I can say is that I wish I'd had a friend like Adolin during some of the darker moments in my life.
