Man I love stormtrooper armor. I remember being a little boy watching new hope for the first time seeing the storm troopers storm that blockade runner and just murdering rebel scum. Too bad they aren't shown as they're meant to be. Highly skilled accurate soldiers feared by all. (Only some of the comics and a rebels episode depicts that they are actually badasses and only top of the class can pass the rigorous training)

I am so fascinated by the fact these units exist all over the world. There is more unity in this hobby then in the whole world itself. It is absolutely incredible that so many people come together and do things like this. Create these legions and have a common goal of just enjoying themselves. Absolutely amazing! I love the 501st, it's so cool to see different chapters around the world. I'm from the US, and live in Orlando, really close to Disney World. Back before 2015 they used to have Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios and invite the local 501st chapter to march through the main street. It was really fun to watch, and helped raise awareness for the charity work they did, visiting local children's hospitals and raising money.
