Perhaps you should add a Diving mech to your exploration vessels (ie one of those tethered suits that they usually use on oil rigs to repair the struts) Because imagine breaking something that you would like to keep And having to abandon it You would need to be able to tow it back or move it into shallower waters As to repair it properly also speaking about cave diving I have no actual experience but after listening to several people who have been certified to dive in caves I feel I understand the dangers of cave diving But you should know that Ship penetration diving is almost as dangerous as cave diving and you must be certified to dive into sunken vessels As you can easily kick up silt and become disoriented while inside the ship then panic and run out of air and then never leave. Same as caves. And that's why I am asking for you to have a backup system for someone to help rescue damaged vehicles That may or may not have someone inside.
