I absolutely love minimalist landscape photography and I have just waited for the conditions to be right for getting these photos! I decided to go out on a moody and stormy day with a lot of rain showers and I got even more than what I hoped for. I was even luckier to have the rapeseed/canola fields blooming right in front of one of the scenes and the beautiful dandelions bloom in front of another scene!

When you said ‘it’s just luck’ in the video it reminded me of a famous golf player...he holed a very difficult shot and one of the spectators commented that it was a lucky shot...and the answer was that ‘the harder I practice, the luckier I get’. Through all the errors made photographing for a long while recognising true talent is easy...and in the case with your videos also inspiring. ‘In process’ with your second e-book on Composition and enjoying that too. Keep up the excellent work you do...beautiful photos!

Well, maybe luck, but fortune favors the bold...in other words you can't get lucky if you aren't out there shooting as much as possible. The capture at 12:13 is quite something else! But I'd like to see the shot with the gate by the trees in the frame and not photoshopped out. BTW you've inspired me to get out and shoot some landscapes today in ur cloudy and wet Newfoundland weather

Beautiful landscape to shoot. It's nice that the owners of the farms didn't really bother you while you shot from even the road. Here in the US, I've had issues even though I wasn't on the person's property. Parts of NY (best seen in the fall) even has certain shoulders and areas along the road marked as private.

You are not harmful for yourself nor for anyone else, when you go out and shoot the landscape in your area! So all measures which does not allows this, restricts the basic rights we enjoy normally, in a way which is not justified IMO. Also as we can see from the numbers of infected people and those who actually die -- comparing that to the missing surgeries and medical treatments -- now leading to a tremendous death rate of cancer patients and others, that alone the medical loss is great due the lockdown. Then last not least when you see that some countries did not take drastic measures and also do not show an explosive growth of Covid-cases, it get's clear that the measures in this way have not been needed to prevent a ramp (like we have been told). Of course indiviudal people suffer from Covid / deaths, but the same is now true due the missing treatments.

It is so encouraging to see that even after you had created so many stunning photos, your passion for what you do hasn't faded. And I so appreciate that you aren't afraid to say some things in wonderful photos are just luck, like the man walking under the 2 trees. You can't get lucky if you're not out there ready for it to happen but it certainly is an element of what makes what we do exciting and can be the the thing that turns a good photo into a great photo! Hi Mads: I really liked the simplicity of the images that you have created and shared during this video. I particularly liked the first series of images with the dark clouds in the back-ground. I also liked the second series of images, but I didn’t mind seeing the ‘gate’ in the shot. I thought it represented an interesting commentary for the shot as you didn’t see the fence which would be the reason for the gate. Therefore, it drew my attention to an interest part of the image. I love the colours that were displayed in these images. Keep safe! Cheers, Keith (Canada)

Lovely photos - just the sort of thing I like to shoot! The only thing I might do differently is to crop the horizontal shots into a bit more of a panorama format to eliminate the out-of-focus blobs of color at the bottom of the frame. These photos are so peaceful - it relaxes me just to look at them. Thanks for sharing them!

@@MadsPeterIversen Absolutely - photography (particularly landscape photography) is all about conveying the photographer's reaction to the landscape, and we all react individually! The best photos allow us to have insight into the photographer's reaction and to share it based on similar experiences we've had. Or at least that's how I interpret it.

This was a fun video to watch, appreciate your excitement. Been struggling to find much too photograph locally here. I've been enjoying your two books during these stay at home times. I feel that with your help I am finally getting a better grasp on what is a good composition.

There are several fields of canola near me. I guess I'll have to go out and take some pictures. If there are naked trees, I'll have to mark the photos NSFW, haha.
