Kenny hopefully soon you will get a portable power supply company to partner with to power that 1984 coffee pot of yours. Haha. But seriously those old pots take alot of power. Maybe look into the pour over filter cups where all you need is hot water in the kettle from your stove. Honestly it tastes better. And no electricity needed. 👊

Its hard to believe there's a better cup of coffee than Flolgers out of a Mr. Coffee or Bunn Lol. But maybe I'll have to try that pour over method. You know what they say... It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

Have you noticed the the newer vault toilets don't stink, like the older ones? They achieve this with the signature stove pipe going through it and out the top of the roof. When working properly, the warmer air naturally travels up the stove pipe, creating a vacuum in the vault below.

Hey Kenny . New viewer here. I am located in the interior region of British Columbia Canada. I share a very similar lifestyle to yours. I dont get out as often as you do but close. I very much enjoy your videos. Its my happy place to go through the week! You have inspired me to get an electric bike . I have been kicking around the idea for awhile now. It looks like you really enjoy it. Would love to hear your pros and cons and features you like and dont like. I would be using it in the same manner as you. Currently I bring along my sxs so my best pal Ben ( labrador Retreiver ) can ride along. He would love to run alongside side the bike too I am sure. Sure would lighten my load and save aton of hassle and a few oops dents in the trailer lol. Thanks for the repair tip on the door handle. Mine was driving me crazy. We have very similar units and the same vintage. I have an 8ft zodiac I bring along for fishing . Ben and I can spend hours on end in it and it fits nicely in the front bumper rack when deflated , right beside my generator and chain saw etc.
@KennyOfAllTrades10 ай бұрын
Very cool! Thanks for the comment. My opinion is that ebaikes with a 26" tall, 4" wide fat tires ride better than the 20" X 3" tire. But I haven't found a folding bike with the larger tires. I do notice the difference in build quality between my $800 Engwe and the $2200 Rad Mini. I hear more rattles in the cheaper bike. The more expensive bike feels tighter...its hard to explain. With that said, I would have never noticed it had I not owned the Rad. The Engwe is fine for what it is. But I guess you get what you pay for. One thing to consider when buying a bike is to find one with exterior mounted batteries. So many bikes have the batteries mounted inside the down tube. So upgrading to a bigger battery is not possible. And if the factory battery goes bad, you have to contact the factory for replacement. I like the exterior mounted battery on the Rad. It was a 48 volt originally. It's now a 58 volt. The factory battery was still good. I just can't leave anything stock.
@duanesvendson217410 ай бұрын
Thanks for the reply Kenny. I would love a folding bike but I agree with you about tire size. My research has me currently leaning hard towards the RAD Power6. Its important to me that it's not only pedal assist and that it has the throttle along with the assist. I have only tried one and it was pedal assist only.

So great seeing you BOTH in a video! My wife told me to pass along that she hopes to see Mandi more often and that you two are a beautiful couple. Welp Kenny..... We finally did it. Left Maryland to Green Bay Wisconsin on Friday night. Bought a 2003 Arctic Fox 860. Slept in it Saturday night at a full service Park N Ride. Then drove back to Maryland when I woke up Sunday Morning! It was about 1950 miles total in a weekend. We are so excited to start our new Journey. Tell Mandi that if she does more cameos.... New subscriber! I've been lurking and watching in rotation as your videos are frequently in my home page to watch list - but subscribed today. My wife doesn't like to show much on my youtube videos either. Often she is in protest of me filming her - but once in a while I get lucky because she is so overwhelmed by something beautiful that we are seeing out in nature she forgets I'm filming! One thing I need to do is learn to cook! I admit - I don't grille or cook much at all. My wife is the master chef around our house and I soooo love to see what she can whip up while we are out camping. Thanks again for sharing - even when you get rained out - it is better than being in the office all day!

Thanks for checking out the channel. I dont consider myself much of a cook eithe, but I love food. In the first year and a half, i didn't show much cooking. But I noticed from the analytical data that some of the highest retention was during that time. I figured if that's what the viewers wanted, I'd be happy to show that part. There are so many different styles of cooking. Mav always does a fancy meal while Crazy Quady is heating up spicy Ramon. I figurd my skull set was somewhere in the middle. I started doing more cooking over the open fire this last winter. Trying different styles of smoking and grilling. I thought trying to make a rack of ribs over an open fire with an electric drill sounded cool, but holy buckets, i got people telling me I was the world biggest idiot trying that. I figure It's all about fun and interesting content from the campsite. I just checked out your last video of the camper remodle and modifications. You did an awesome job!
@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures Жыл бұрын
@@KennyOfAllTrades I saw the power drill rotisserie episode. It was awesome! Thanks for checking out my latest video. My camper and truck are much older than yours. My 2500 is maxed out and requires the air springs to keep it up when loaded.

Hi Kenny I don’t cook over fire rings or pits either that have trash, cigarette butts, plastic, etc. People who throw their trash in the fire pit are lazy. Even when you pickup trash in your other videos, I worry you will handle a needle accidentally. Be careful. I love that you are kind and gentle man. Don’t try and save the wilderness and put your health in danger with a needle prick.

Nice video. For the alternate AC source I added a 30A transfer switch. My inverter AC goes in one port and shore power goes in the other. It will sense and switch to the inverter power when present. The neat part is it powers all the outlets just like your plugged in. One thing is to not wire in the camper convertor charger to the inverter AC so you are not charging your batteries from the power station source unless you want to. It works well and was kind of fun. Good luck I hope we see more of her 🙂. Take care.

I love it when it rains…… I am safe and comfy in micro camper. I always have downloaded movies, books and snacks.

It can be super cozy in the rain. My daughter has talked about getting a micro camper. They look really comfy.
