What? Yeah Kettle does mean Watch but it's got nothing to do with Scotch!!! It comes from "Kettle and hob" which rhymes "Fob" , Meaning "Fob watch" which was a watch on a chain and fob that was worn back when Cockney rhyming slang was created. Sorry! Had to point that out again! (C&P)🤣😂

@@jeffmartin_UK My family grew up just off of Burdett Road and my grandad worked at East India Dock and I've always known kettle to be linked with the large copper stills known as a kettle to distill whiskey. I've always thought of hob as a newer word for stove or stove top as my gran would have called it. But as with most slangs it comes from the community that uses it, it's source can become blurred and altered as time moves on.

The thing is, over the last few years because of watching more Americans reacting to UK rap, I've been brushing up on my cockney rhyming slang and 'Kettle' just happens to be a favourite. Just a quick Google search will show ya! 👍 Oh and the only place you can actually produce Scotch is in Scotland. Outside of Scotland it can only be called Whiskey. Or Whisky in Ireland.

My UK top 5 Chip Ocean Wisdom JME AJ Tracey Professor Green or Example Not all necessarily the best from the UK, but ones I like to listen to most, you've probably never heard the last 2. But I'm going to recommend a track for you to react to Tinchy Stryder - Game Over I'm really surprised you haven't done it already or that no one has said to react to it. It's got Giggs, Devlin and Chip on as well as some others that'll be new to you. It was massive when it came out, but a quick warning this was Chip before he couldn't run out of bars 🤣 before lowkey made him go missing for a while 🤣
