PREACH BROTHER PREACH..... those of us who have been in Recovery KNOW THE IMPORTANCE of laying it ALL on the Line. I love your humor Spencer especially when you started the "I got ABC and OCD and a bunch of other letters"......I laughed my ass off. I'm looking forward to Lance heading your way and changing his Surroundings... People, Places and Thing's is drilled into my brain thankfully. I've got 18 yrs and holding strong in the Program though I still do it "One Day at a Time"... Much Respect

We all have those bad days. I actually survived yesterday without you posting a video, so it's all good. I'm glad you were able to get out with the family; sorry about the presents that Sasha & Buddy left you. You know the saying, "$h*t happens".

Thank you, like with you saying you’re gonna make a commitment to show up every day. Dude even though this is KZbin. The fact that when you put your mind to something you have the grit and determination to follow it through all the way. It is so inspiring. I just shared some of your wisdom tonight and the recovery group about the importance of joining a class that you’re interested in and having a teacher you can look up to. And maybe not just the one in your town but the best one you can find. Thanks my dude, you drop in all kinds of nuggets of wisdom along the way that you may not even realize all of em. But I am picking them all up

My stepmom was Hispanic. She and my dad lived in northwest Louisiana in the country. Some of those people thought she was from Hawaii. Those jokers had never seen a Latina. I played in a summer little league there and was all world bc I had played against stiff competition in the city and these country kids were a lot bigger but hadn’t spent as much time as I had playing baseball.

Lord have mercy.... I have to comment every two minutes. When I was down the last time my folks sent me the local paper. When it was time for graduation they put every kids picture in the paper. When I got that paper and not one black kid was graduating I was finally able to prove it to people.

I don't understand if BobbyJo is illiterate, then the prison would make him get his g.e.d, right? Did he get a prison g.e.d while being illiterate?

Big weavey said u wanted my cash app …. So I gess u know I’m homeless at the mo . My goddaughter needed her room back . I lived there for a year and a half rent free so I can’t complain…. But it’s wet and cold 🥶 here in England so it’s not fun sleeping in car parks etc . I can only stay a charlottes place 3-4 nights a week because people grassing her up if I stay any longer and I’m not putting chars place in danger so I just trying to get somewhere to stay. I need a few hundred pounds for a deposit 💵 to get a place till after Xmas it sucks right now and I nerly called the dope man …. Don’t worry it was only a thought because I was so cold at the time. I’d never go back to that. Weavey said u wanted my cash app ????? It’s £ not $ - it’s £MRSMGITTENS…….

Just to prove we qualify.... here's a song about Keen Mountain. The guy on the five string is someone I grew up with. His youngest brother has been my best friend since elementary school. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWTHmHl6g6-ahdE

Reminds me of a small town I was driving through in the 90s outside of Martinsville Indiana. My tire blew and my spare was flat. On a New CAR! This overalls wearing hillbilly and his son pulled over to help fix my tire and get me back on the road and out of this "sundown town". They were nice helpful, but they dropped the N bomb on me at least 4 times. I knew they didn't mean anything by it. My grandparents were born at the turn of the century and called people by politically incorrect categories as just a matter of fact not malice. So after biting my tongue for 20 minutes, I thanked the guys and tried to give them some cash for helping me out. They refused and said they'll follow me out of town to make sure the tire hold up. I said that was not necessary. He replied. "As far a he's concerned you have a friend in this town, and I'll be damn if I hear rumor about a nigger getting killed tomorrow morning when I wake up. Some of these folks ain't right." I was stunned. I just stood there with my mouth dropped open as he shook my hand and got back into his truck. He followed me to the county line honked horns and never saw each other again.
