Story of my ride: family time on the bike in Sydney - city to Cronulla, via airport on cycleways

This is a short clip of a ride earlier this year, a few hours on the bike with my son. It was a chance to explore while we considered a recent refit of his road bike (Focus Cayo). He grew up riding alongside me but it had been a while since our last adventure so we opted to go via the new / rapidly-developing set-up as you go pass the airport via Mascot, and then follow bike paths as much as we could.
This is a #StoryOfMyRide labelled 'Scenes on my ride'... there's not much more to the story than the fact that we enjoyed good conditions for a nice ride in our town - and it was great. Cycling in Sydney can be hassle-free. And when it is, it's worth celebrating.
This is a video of me and my son, Xavier, in the first week of 2024: 50km, a couple of hours, and some scenery with exercise.

Xavier: Focus Cayo (2015... I think) with Campagnolo Chorus, mechanical shifting... a hand-me-down from his brother but still going strong.

Thanks Rob, great reminder of some bike paths. Our mini cyclists are just getting to the point we can take them on some bike paths without it being a danger to ... everything 😂

Proud indeed, the family that rides together stays together..... BTW, I thought you handled the Dennis issue very well a few weeks ago. I know there may have been some hard feelings since you posed the question of possible doping to the DS @ Bahrain during the media scrum when he decided to just depart the Tour without explanation...
