Story of my ride: cycling, city to coast - to Port Adelaide + surrounds (part of

Riding north from Adelaide, I followed the bike paths until arriving on the coast at Port Adelaide. I then visit Semaphore* (which, I realised weeks later, I kept calling 'Sephamore' - please excuse me). There's plenty of talk, as well as scenery and a few random surprises in a #StoryOfMyRide that also serves as a reminder about one simple reality: life is better when you ride a bike.
This is part four of the Story Of My Ride series from #TDU2024 and my visit to South Australia, recorded 20 January 2024, part of my coverage from the Tour Down Under of 2024.

I know... (now). It got into my head the wrong way and stayed there. And, as you can hear, once I'd convinced myself it was "Sephamore" that's what it became for the rest of the narrative. D'oh! The jersey was a (very) limited run... and it was exclusive to the TDU this year (thus the "24" on the sleeves). I thought there were plenty, so I was keen to help encourage some business. Vanessa, thanks for the comment. This was, I'm sure you realise, one of a series from the TDU of 2024. If you have a little look around the channel - www.youtube.com/@ride-media - you'll find plenty of scenery from other videos in the #StoryOfMyRide series. I'm currently in Italy... at the end of a month-long visit (ie. flying home in a few hours) and then the editing of a vast collection of other videos will begin. Believe me, I've seen some great scenery these past few weeks. So, stay tuned. - Rob
