Story of Nunu & Willump

I have a bit of a theory. If the gem gives Nunu the ability to create whatever he imagines, that makes every skin in the game canon, right?

I don't know about every skin but definitely his own skins. If you watched the end of the Nunu/Willump video, Nunu says something like "what if we wore armor or were elves or zombies" basically referencing his demolisher, workshop and zombie skins.

i do not believe that Willump is entirely created by Nunu's immagination, i think he is the yeti/guardian who became friend with the boy, and the "immagination power" transform it into a more goofy child-fantasy version of a yeti. Doesn't make more sense?... On top of that, the thing that he wish to have more wishes and more star falls in front of him and the fact that the skins are actually a manifestation of his power, was greatly great, wow. (great work as always, love your videos)

@@JhonnyLivingroom well it still would be a product of his imagination, sense whatever the real yeti looked like it got transformed by nunu's power, and that manifestation had to come from nunu's imagination. necrit was right he just probably thought it was obvious that there was a real yeti that was much more scary looking as that was a fairly big part in the story.

It looks like world runes are related to the ingame runes, the red rune in ryze's cinematic causes destruction (domination) the green rune in the comic gives life (resolve) now a blue "gem" that makes nunu's imagination become true, sounds like the inspiration rune to me. Also note that at the end of Ryze's cinematic one rune was missing, and if you compare the colors that'd be the inspiration rune.

I wonder if Ryze ever finds out that Nunu has the last world rune, will he let him keep it or kill him in order to put the rune in the in his chamber where no one will ever find them? Then again that's just a thought I had in my head.

I'm pretty sure the runes Ryze found in the cinematic were shards, as there were more pedestals in the vault. This theory is further reinforced when you recall the login screen for the new runes featured Ezreal reaching up at the inspiration rune, or at least a shard of it. But yeah, the runes in game were based on the world runes in the lore, I'm pretty sure Riot has confirmed this.

I'm not a big fan of this theory for a few reasons. Number one, it's already making people miscount how many runes there are. People say five is the max but Ryze already has 4, Brand has one, and there are obviously more so that can't be the cap. I'm pretty sure the colors in in-game runes are to separate the trees, making them visually distinct so you can tell at a glance what people are doing. I'm 99% sure that every World Rune is for a different element. The one Ryze got was for magma, in the comic it was a life Rune, Brand's is obviously a fire rune, and in the petricite cave they all look very different in their element.

In my opinion, they really messed up the whimsical or "disney" feel of Zoe, she just ended up being annoying and slapped on there for "too much edge"s sake, but with these two, i really feel that magical and warm feeling that was likely intended with this rework, good work Rito Jemmz :)

Ironclast Willump was approached by the three Icebornsister Avarosa Serylda and Lissandra. Yet he says the blind one betrayed them. It could have been the watchers that killed the yetis for aiding the Ice born rebellion

So Liss and her sisters came to the yetis because Avarosa and Serylda wanted to start a war with the watchers and they probably asked for their help, their magic! We know that the gema seems to keep the yetis „normal“ and if they lose them they turn savage from nunus story! Lissandra knew that the yetis will come and fight so she prepared the watchers for the so they could strip the yetis of their gems and magic turning them wild :)

I have an amusing theory about the Yeti civilization. On one hand, we know that they descended into savagery after being stripped of their magic so i assume that they did not disappear. On the other hand we have the Troll race. As far as i know we dont know much about the Troll race, they are not human, different from the Vastaya in Ionia, and supposedly only exist in Freljord. I might be wrong but i believe that in the lore their origin is pretty much unknown. They seem to be a physically strong race, prone to violence and without magic. Which to me, sounds pretty similar to the fallen Yeti, making, at least to me, a compelling case that, the Trolls led by Trundle might be the descendants of what is left of the Yeti civilization after the cataclysm aforementioned in Nunu lore.

In the same time, they said, that they will release a Champion that know what and why it happend to Lissandra. That rune could be the last world rune cuz ryze was missing one Insperation. if this really is the world rune it explains that ezreal also does not have it. Insperation rune is about creative tools (Willip says its a tool) and bends rules. This fits all perfectly only if we can get confirmation from Riot
