Any idea whether Nighat Butt was still married to Abid Butt at the time of her death? I met Abid Butt around 2009; he had become a Tableeghi and called acting un-Islamic. Wonder if his wife was still doing that un-Islamic job as I spotted Nighat in a few plays after that meeting.

Waris was best serial ever produced by . I was a school going student. In the evenings, Roads in Ferozepur Punjab used to become empty to watch its episode. Choudhary Hashmat Khan playing as Typical Feudal Lord was best and unparalleled. Names like Puttar Yakub, Dilawar , Maula Dad were household names. Students used to imitate Choudhary Hashmat Khan's way of talking and mind boggling sentences.
