I just got a new Fmax 216 with a 17k winch. My shop burned to the ground last Friday and my wireless remote was in my shop. Can that be replaced and a new one reprogrammed?

I really appreciated your story about the skid steer and that moment seemed to come back to you! I've had a few of those pucker moments and it isn't hard to get lost in the fear again reliving that moment! You guys build beautiful trailers. I want to design my own dump trailer to fit my truck and I'm looking at all kinds of different trailers. I really appreciate your design logic and openness!

Not every body wants a spreader gate, I do tree work and use a dump trailer to haul loaders, stump grinders and large rounds of wood. The D rings should have ramped hold downs to prevent hang-ups. Another trend is combo ramp/gates. Rear stabilizers could be drop leg hand crank 7K jacks so you can actually lift the trailer to change a tire in the field.

There’s a 3 way gate that give u the option to use it however u want. And as far as being able to easily change a tandem trailer tire in the field, just drive over a board lol

I own a 12 by 6 diamond trailer with the folding back ramp and one axle but it can haul 3500 lbs of weight. Do you still make this one? I love it!

So , why doesn't Dia-C put (2) 12k torsion axles with disc brakes and 17.5 tires\wheels ?

Great question! We do a 10K torsion version with drum brakes. (Disc loses bed width) A 12K drum version is physically possible but due to the shear size of the hub your inside bed width would be significantly reduced making it not practical for being able to haul a machine of any size (even more so the case with disc).

Great Trailers, one question. Isn't the reflective D.O.T. tape supposed to have the white in the front of the trailer and the red to the rear? Great video!!

Great question and thanks for the compliment. As far as we understand by FMCSA guidelines it doesn’t specify one in front of the other. So on the same trailer in the video it would be reversed on the opposite side.

Just bought a new 14 ft LPD a month ago in the same color. Great trailer. Only complaint is the latch for the tarp..no way to keep it up when deploying the tarp. Frustrating when trying to tarp a load with one person.

NO LOW PROFILE for off-road mining... GET THE DECK-OVER TRAILER WITH FOLD-DOWN SIDES FOR THE LOAD AND DUMP JOBS!

We build the same trailer with straight axles. This makes the frame have the same ground clearance as the frame of a deck over dump. 👍

Find your shipper first, I know barges go out of Long Beach not sure if Seattle area is an option. I would think about any dealer could arrange a hotshot to drop off at the beach. If barge company refuses to load hire a local tow company to load (most likely not an issue because a trailer can be chained to a flat deck for a top ride then the barge company moves the flat deck). I worked out of Bristol Bay for Alaska Marine Lines.

Watch some videos from people who purchase trailers the few videos I watched people were happy with there dump trailer especially How It's Made the Wilding the paint the different axles the three-way tailgate but the few videos I did watch looked like they were well made trailers I know you can't make everybody happy but worth looking into

I'm amazed that the video guy forgot to edit out the shitty welds at 1:08
