Story of Tirupati Balaji - The Abode of Lord Venkateshwara

Set in the peaceful hills of Tirumala, the temple of Lord Venkateshwara Balaji or Vishnu, is one of the holiest places in the country. The story of why the Tirupati temple is so special is a fascinating one.
As foretold by Lord Vishnu, the Chola king was reborn as Akasa Raja. Akasa Raja decided to perform a special yagna to obtain an heir. In preparation for this yagna, the king and queen were asked to till some fertile land. While doing so, they found a golden lotus box. They opened the box and found a baby girl in it. Akasa Raja named the child Padmavati as she was found resting on a golden lotus box. Unbeknownst to the king, Padmavati was an incarnation of Vedavati. In her previous birth, Vedavati wanted to marry Lord Vishnu, which is why she was reborn as Padmavati in this birth to fulfil her destiny. In the meantime, Vishnu was staying on earth as Shrinivasa, with his foster mother, Vakula Devi. One day, when Shrinivasa went hunting, he heard some cries for help. He saw an elephant chasing some young women, one among them was Padmavati. Shrinivasa subdued the elephant and chased it away. Shrinivasa and Padmavati took an instant liking to each other and fell in love.
When Shrinivasa learnt about the identity of Padmavati, he went to his mother. Revealing that he was in fact, Lord Vishnu, he asked her to go to Akasa Raja to discuss marriage between him and Padmavati. Vakula Devi was sceptical about whether or not the king would believe the true identity of Shrinivasa. Shrinivasa then disguised himself as an astrologer and went to the palace before his mother. He predicted that Padmavati would marry Lord Vishnu himself. Later, when Vakula Devi arrived with the proposal, Akasa Raja agreed immediately.

I am from Telangana. A telugu speaking native Indian. These christian missionaries and Jihadi missionaries are illegally occupying the sacred lands of Tirupathi and Thirumala with the help of greedy local politicians. I pray to Lord Padmavathi Venkateshwara to give us strength to fight this injustice as it is beyond our capacity to fight the entire eco system and save our culture from these cult religions. If we are not worthy to fight then at least I pray to him to save himself and keep giving us the blessings.

Varaha swami gave the land for Bhagawan Venkateswara. So, we should visit Varaha swamy Temple first and then visit Venkateswara. It would be great as you mentioned in the above story about the foster mother of Venkateswara Vakula Devi. She is none other than Yashodha. She could never see her son Krishna get married so in this yuga she was able to see it.

There is a mistake in this video. Firstly God Vishnu never feels pain as He is God. Padmavati is Laxmi only. So how can Laxmi be furious that Srinivasa weded Padmavati when Padmavati is Mahalaxmi? How can blood come from Vishnu's forehead when Vishnu can never be harmed? Vishnu is always blissful and never felt any misery.

Modern king Thondainal didn't built temple for free. He had a daughter who was sick because of Brahma raakshasi no ayurveda doctor could cure her then a safe Ramanuja saved her so Ramanuja asked for temple in return but funny part here there was no idol during temple construction. It was already stolen by Delhi sultanate and sultan daughter Bibi nacharam is having the idol in her room she loved it even Muslims are against idols. After temple construction complete the sage ramanujan and king went to sultan to retrieve the idol.

Sultan humiliated safe Ramanujam and king Thondainal saying "if he is truly your god how come he is in our treasury ask him come to court if he is real". Ramanujam called Selvam perumal come here the idol appeared in court shocked the Sultan even sent protection in return journey of lord perumal Venkateswara. Then Sultan's daughter wanted the idol back she came to tirupati to retrieve it and when priests didn't allow her she died at tirumala before temple door where no person other than priest is allowed. This is the story yes it was chola kingdom time and they even say Pandya and Pallava kings fought for the possession of this Kali Yuga god Venkateswara because it grants boon and power can be felt for devotees in real that's why it is richest income temple.

I heard of this temple, and I know the cholas existed, but I don't believe that this god vishnu incarnated here. A myth was created for tribes in this kingdom. People here prayed to Maayon God, which is a black God. Dravidians prayed to Maayon ,which is a tribal God representing vishnu. Wonder why.??
