Personally I would put their info up. They stole something and if they are willing to steal from one person, who says they haven’t or won’t steal something else? It’s not being petty, it’s like telling someone ‘Hey don’t like your let children work with that manager for acting cause he touches little kids’ It’s keeping people and their items safe.
@Astronatcreates7 күн бұрын
To be fair that wouldn’t be petty it would be the right thing to do as well as reporting her to the authorities. Theft is a crime. I love Mimo but there is such a thing as being too kind to certain people (coming from someone who’s unlearning that), the real right thing to do in the situation would’ve been to report her and alert her customers so they know not to support someone like that - because it’s likely she’s ripping them off too!
@stuffwithsoph82644 күн бұрын
Mimo did the smart play, whether its fair or not as a business she has to take the highground...looks bad when a business can decide who to dox or put on blast for reasons we don't even know 100%

I don’t share anymore either. I used to freely loan out my books and movies (back when dvds were the thing) but it became more and more common for people to return my items damaged or just not at all. I had one person return my dvd cases but not the movies. They wouldn’t return my calls and I never got that stuff back. Now I just don’t share and people get mad, but even a library has a cost of you don’t return things so I’m done.

Don’t let anyone borrow anything moral of the story. If you don’t borrow stuff from people, they shouldn’t expect you to give them any handouts. They can purchase their own stuff and if they don’t like it, they can return it.

😩 People really mess things up for others! Cause now you have to be hesitant when naturally, you are giving and genuinely trusting towards people! I really hate that about the world 😔 I am a day dreaming Pisces as well as empath, (double whammy cause I FEEL EVERYTHING)😂 I have always seen the world 🌎 through the lens of how I want it to be and not how it really is! It is the only way that I am able to cope and continue to have hope in humanity. Unfortunately often times when i remove those lenses, i am met with heart break 💔 Sometimes the smallest things have the biggest principles!! For now, I’ll just put my glasses back on and remain hopeful as I like it here better ❤😊 There is definitely a shift happening as I type this comment and it will be more beautiful than anyone could imagine 😊

Let someone borrow a play pen we use for our dogs outside because they just had a baby & wanted something to be able to do yard work with the baby outside…. They never used it, put it in their attic instead of giving it back. Husband cleans out attic, they don’t have a use for it…. Throws it away. we got a new puppy 3 months ago… asked for it back so puppy has a place to play without bugging the older dogs…. They ignored the calls cuz they were too scare to admit they tossed it away…. $70 later, I’m never letting people borrow things again 🙃 and they’re the type of people who can afford to go out and buy expensive things so they don’t even think twice about throwing things away, some of us aren’t that lucky 😒

I was head teacher of the Hone Ec faculty in my school (Sydney, Australia). Staff members would come and borrow items all the time. I had to develop a strict borrowing policy. I had a borrowing book where they had to write down what they wanted to borrow and when. They had 2 days to return it CLEAN. They couldn’t just turn up when I was teaching and expect me to stop and get things for them. My kitchen assistant would organise the equipment and they had to collect it at the assigned time. If they wanted a knife the teacher had to collect, I wouldn’t give it to a student. Once a staff member borrowed equipment for a BBQ for her students. She didn’t return it I kept ringing her staff room to remind her to return it. In the end I went to her staff room and found it all 2 weeks later, greasy and unwashed. Yuk.

I let someone that I thought was a good friend borrow a box of vinyls, some of them my mom had given me. She had the same phone number for years after that but wouldn't answer my calls. Then she moved to a different city, and of course, I never got them back. Learned my lesson! Now, I only allow responsible family members to borrow anything from me. Sucks that people have to be like that.

I had this girl in my life who I thought was my friend and she told me she was going on vacation and asked to borrow some clothes and I didn’t mind at all and she actually moved. She took like 10 items from me and some of them weren’t cheap it was so crazy. She refused to send them back and I just gave up trying after awhile. Gave me trust issues when I later moved in with my best friend and I would let her wear my stuff and I started to get weirdly paranoid about it, so dumb
