No this or that means No license for you! If you have an emergency they are going (the 2 doctors), to cover their butts with you. And dont use them on your resume. They are a guaranteed catastrophe and you dont want your name attached to that. I worked in something similar but i kept my standards with no help from them but it is taxing and when they go down they will try to take you with them. Be smart! Honestly as a licensed nurse it is your duty to report this facility for the safety of the patients. This is scary to think this is going on, but there is no need to dwell on it, but rather attempt to find a solution for the patients. You could potentially save a life. God removed you from a shady situation and spared your license from a possible malpractice lawsuit in the future.

I’ve been a nurse for 12 years and I can’t even tell you how many times God has given me signs when it was time to leave a job. He will make you feel uncomfortable and give you a hard time so you can leave because he wants you to go somewhere else where you are needed. He also keeps you in certain places for a certain amount of time to meet certain people and learn from it, because where He is taking you, you might need what you learned at your previous place to advance where He is taking you. I’ve been put in this position several times and I know that’s what He was doing. As long as you put it in Gods hands, He will take care of the rest. I've been an RN 45 years...taught nursing for a while..and I can tell you some nightmare stories..especially from my timelines beginning in the 70's. It is appalling..infuriating and character- testing just trying to fulfill your duties with integrity. I had to answer my Supervisor about why I didn't "support" a male co-worker who sexually assaulted a young PREGNANT patient..and I responded.."I assumed I was here to be an advocate for my PATIENTS..not a "professional" man who was dead wrong..what he did was criminal. Went through some persecution but really didn't care. I've been blamed for dangerous incidents of negligence and incoherence that occured ed when I was at home in my bed..lost my shift..and waa suspended without pay for 3 days..being sacrificed because of ",porch n*****s who sat in the office and smoked and told all their business were that low down..and so very much more. My counsel to this present generation of nurses is this..if you're in it because you love the profession and you love truly helping God's people and giving them hope..hang in there prayerfully.. because that part will keep you grounded and motivated..but if it's for the cash only..move out of the way and let those dedicated do their jobs. Nursing is SCANDOLOUS and treacherous ..they even will try to persuade you to falsify records and sign things felonious. I've never seen soooo many incompetent..ill-trained..medically illiterate "nurses" who don't even seem to "like" their jobs..God help the sick and infirm..everything is cost effective for the cash elephants...

I started my on consulting business and secured a position working for a grant project aimed at reducing African American Infant Mortality; I made more money in those 3 years than I ever have in my career. Unfortunately I could not secure another big money project, so I entered the traditional workforce again. I say all that to say this, sometimes in our season of "no's", it's a "yes" from God. At the end of the day, not only do nurses suffer but unfortunately the patients suffer too and when you are a caring, compassionate and conscientious nurse it’s hard. It’s actually very stressful.

Hi. I just got fired. I was happy when I had been hired, but it felt like the boss and the assistant resented me for my education (or whatever). I never felt comfortable there. There was no policy/procedure manual, no job description, no detailed description of duties, etc. They hated that I wrote everything down. So the boss texted me and said I was underperforming. I probably was. But I so appreciate you relating your experience. I don't feel quite so bad now. Thanks!

The thing at this point is to ask the Lord to show you what you learned from the short period of time you were there. I posted on this same page of yours about 6 days ago about being let go Tuesday from a job I was only at for 5 weeks. Since then Lord blessed me with a permanent full time job, full benefits, 100% remote job in the same field. Crazy because that whole week I was stressing about how to get my kids to school and the day before they let me go my kids had school the next day and I was at peace knowing I was the one to get them to and from safely. The blessing again was a few days after I started work another temp lady started and the same lady we were laughing about because we didn't know where she even came from..her and I ended up connecting and were super cool as she was the 3rd black woman there...Yall listen..God had a plan before the plan. That same woman called me the day after they let me go and said her daughter was a doctor with her own practice and was in need of a Accountant/billing specialist. Ya'll..she called me..interviewed me Friday like yes its only part-time but eventually will become full time. The pay was just $2 less but heck I was putting $100 a week in my tank for the other job and this one was remote so I was good good. Well by the time the interview was over she called me a few hours later and offered me the job but for full-time and I start tomorrow🤣🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 won't He do it!!. God was telling me the whole time I was at the job to take a ton of notes and learn what I can for the next job. I'm like ok I'm tripping that can't be God because I only been there for 5 weeks lol.. He said thats all you needed. HALLELUJAH 🔥.Again we must trust His no just as well as when we trust His yes!!!! God got you sis trust the process!!

Sheesh! Unfortunately the toxic work environment is alive and well. I just left a job 2 weeks after starting. I’m a behavioral technician and get sent to homes to work with special needs children. I was sent to a client where I was constantly getting groped (to a painful extent) my a child and mom stands there thinking it’s cute…boys will be boys. After letting the company know and being told it’s just part of the job…I did something I never thought I’d do I didn’t even give a notice I just quit! You are 100% correct when you say the writing is in the wall

I thought FOR SURE.. the madness would stop when it comes to disabled children. But nope. I've tried it all. It's all toxic. The only one that wasn't was a hospice position. But that's because you're out on the road all day with no one to mess with you. That was the longest nursing job I held.

Just tuned into your channel for the first time and I could tell by the comment the lady made about not being able to keep someone was a NO GO for this position! Always, use the spirit of discernment and ask "how did this position become opened"? That will always give you a sense of whether it's a high turnover role or what is the real reason why it's hard to keep or get someone for that role. And also, pick the interviewer's brain and ask them to describe a typical day in that role? Because, what you're really doing is seeing how well they know the role, their body language on how they explain the role and if the role matches the job description. And lastly, ask if you can meet with anyone you would report to or interact with on a day to day basis. I guarantee if you do your due diligence with interviewing n meeting some of these people, it will save you a lot of frustration n time! All the best sis! ❤️

As a medical professional somewhat new to this field....I find the Doctors are very nice...it's the people under the Doctors and office managers that are very flaky and they want to be on the same level with the Doctors. Some are not up to par with computers, or EMR but yet they are the 'Head' person.
@Fourwindsofsuccess Жыл бұрын
I’ve witnessed this at a chiropractor office . I am not a nurse but I studied health information technology which deals with EHR/EMRs. It was the staff who was was toxic not mainly the doctors. People who are not even educated but lucked up to get into management are trying to be the doctors.

Hi! We sorta have something in common. I was fired for my last nursing job. I was ill long term and I kept my employer updated with doctors appointments, as per I was supposed to do. I even came in to get my laptop after going to the ER, at the same hospital I worked! So they weren't short handed. They fired me for being sick. Illegal to do in the state I live in. Short story is I sued them and won. The reason I sued them was because they denied me unemployment.

Just happened on your channel...I had a similar situation with a job (not nursing but small office, my position had a ridiculously high turnover rate) and I have to say, not everyone can be a boss. Smaller businesses usually start out on the strength of that one person. When they go to grow the business and add on others, they lose touch with reality I think. Which is why your office had no timecard system or regulatory oversight. You have been given a huge break, by leaving when you did. You will have your choice of jobs, know this!

Thank you for sharing your story! I sometimes wonder what is going on behind the scene… you know how as a patient you sometimes catch a vibe…. I went to a dr’s office with high turnover for a while, I stopped going because of billing disagreements and the way he handled them. Shortly after his entire remaining staff quit and sued him for non payment of wages. I own my own business and ALWAYS pay my staff 1st, before any other bills or myself, which frankly isn’t ever a problem if you run your business right. Just goes to show that you can be smart enough to be a dr but not smart enough to know that managing an office and business is an entirely different skill set. Thank you!

I got let go from my job a few months ago and even though I was miserable, it sucked being fired. Very long story, but I was a disease intervention specialist for local government and I needed to observe my coworker deliver positive HIV results to a patient. I started coughing excessively and excused myself from the patient's room to get water (I felt horrible doing so but couldn't stop coughing). I returned to finish observing her interview the patient and thought nothing of it. Our job was to test patients for HIV/STD and interview/contact trace with them. A week later, my bosses called me in and said they heard I had a rough week, and that I got emotional, cried, and walked out on a patient. They grilled me asked me how would I feel if someone did that to me after being given an HIV diagnosis. I tried to explain to them that's not at all what happened, but they didn't want to hear it. I struggled through my training as it was an insanely difficult job, but that was the main reason they stated for letting me go. This experience crushed me and killed my confidence, and the job hunt was discouraging. I found a new position in a medical lab and hope things start to look up. Sorry this happened to you and I hope things have turned out better! Best wishes to you!

I went through the same thing a couple years ago. I've been taking care of people at the time for over 25 years. I decided to work in a nursing home. After always work in private duty alone. Youngsters take off on the clock go eat go to the house leave me with the patients. But I was always the one getting something told to. I went above and beyond because I already knew how to do the work. But then I see sometimes I guess I was a threat. God made it to where I had a clean exit and I took it same like you. All the patients who liked me. Two houses no one would change them they full of pissed barely feed them right. And hygiene with the workers was terrible. After I would leave my morning shift job. And come there which was my second job everyone should be clean and watching TV full after 1:00. Don't you think. Some people just don't need that dream of taking care of people. U have to have a heart to.
