I’m so sorry this happened to you. I went through a divorce and felt those exact feelings. I became scared of my ex husband and would cry out to God to deliver me or save him. I tried to go back but every time I felt the heaviness and more information about his lifestyle would come out. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through but the Lord showed up and I’m in a much better place now.

I’m getting an Eastern Orthodox study Bible which is Biblical. Thank you. Also he was fueled by selfish desires, one of which being citizenship. I was just a piece in his puzzle to life. I’ll never know why him and his family decided to treat me like they did. Only the Lord knows. It’s up to me to forgive and go out in love regardless which often times is a longer journey than the journey of hurt I endured. ❤ hope you have a great day!
