Bathroom, kitchen, and living room remodel in a hurry before baby comes in August. Baby shower is June and my mom plans on staying here. I'm aiming to have the remodel done by then.

Find out the government body responsible for regulating insurance in your state and theirs. Keep that in your back pocket in case insurance continues to play delay games.

Posting this separate as I'm sure you need a good laugh right now. I've been to that Orlando UPull and Pay to get parts. One time, (in August) when I was getting parts for my wife's Escort, I passed by a couple arguing in the UPull yard. The guy was working to pull the cylinder head off an Acura, the lady was dressed to the nines, definitely NOT UPull yard outfit. As I passed the row where they were standing, I heard the lady yell: MAN! WHY YOU BRING ME OUT TO THIS HOT M-----F----'!! I kept walking, tried not to grin and just thought "better you than me, pal". Glad to see the Mercury came back together, your wife looked like she was a trooper out there.

First, glad to hear your wife was alright and the other party was also uninjured. Yeah, I think you're going to have to lawyer up to get their "insurance" to pay. And don't let them lowball you bc you were able to fix the damage yourself. Save everything, including the unedited video you used for the time-lapse.

I still think there is damage under the stuff I replaced. I'm not letting them off the hook. They will pay.
