Despite me not believing in myself, he most certainly did and saw a life for me that, at that moment in time, I was incapable seeing for myself....

You'll probably outlive your parents, your relationships might not last and the only people left who love you unconditionally are your true friends. Ryan Dunn is the only member of the jackass crew that I've met. I was like 14 and stood in line at the mall for like 2 hours. I only met him for like a minute but he seemed really cool and down to earth. he seemed to just be grateful to be there and I thought it was really cool. RIP Ryan.

Dunn seemed like the greatest friend anyone could ask for. It's sad that he's not here anymore. You guys were all my heroes when I was a young teen. I would watch my Viva La Bam DVDs CONSTANTLY. Now that I'm an adult, and have gone through tough battles with addiction to opioid pain meds, I have to say, you are probably someone I look up to the most now, because you continue to show me, I can stay clean, I can reach happiness, I can pursue my dreams. I've been Ryan in this story. I've had people near me go through this ordeal. The emotions were always everywhere. Some of those fights were won...and some were lost. For anybody reading this I say keep up the fight show that tough love if you have to because sometimes folks have no idea what they're putting themselves through and just as importantly the people around them that care through as well.

I love this for you. I teared up I too have struggled with addiction. This last year I made a change and got of methadone after 10 years. I remember that scene, me and my friends would get together get high and watch theses shows back in the day" when I thought it was still fun" until 1 day I woke up with nothing and it wasn't anymore. Now my life is different. My mom actually gave me her bank card to run in and get her money, something I thought would never happen. I know you help people all the time. But this really hit me. Methadone is keeping a LITTERAL million plus people a day on earth from HAVING TO pick up a needle, put them self in Jeopardy of the law, spend money they don't have, etc etc. Methadone isn't all bad. A big percentage of people on it switch to crack, meth, alcohol, etc etc but this is because they haven't dealt with the things that keep them trying to self medicate in the first place. Calling it "Liquid Handcuffs" is ludicrous. It's a choice. Not a punishment.
