Canada doesnt put you under. They freeze you and pull it out just like you say. A lot of places are like that in america too. So this is not uncommon at all and it sounds like your first surgery of the bottom two was a very high end way to do it. Ice is perfectly fine and suggested by all dentists..heat you arent supposed to do.

I agree! I love the mens t shirts too! Primark here in northern ireland has amazing tee's. I had my wisdom tooth out and recovering from dry socket 😥 was just numbed but awake, frightening and heard everything in my mouth 😱 the crunch sound 😭

Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Very informative. I'm actually getting this done soon. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that FREAKS me OUT!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Ice can't cause dry sockets. Your dentist knows exactly what he's talking about. Ice has a beneficial effect on the major swelling. Also they do not stitch the top gums when wisdom teeth are removed, only the bottom. I'm sitting here watching this because I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed 3 days ago. My face is still huge. I still can't chew regular foods yet. And my face just aches. It sucks and I hate how long this takes to get over.

Nice video. I had both bottom wisdom teeth removed about 3 weeks ago, and I was perfectly fine too for the first few days. Then dry sockets developed, and oh boy do those suck. I still don't know what I did wrong, but they said it was a large extraction site so sometimes it just happens even if you do everything right.. On another note, I would have totally flipped if the dentist told me I was only getting novacaine and no laughing gas. Spend the extra money and knock me out lol :)

when they put an IV in i mean i didn’t care lol the needle is soooo skinny. i barley kept a pinch and then i just started watching tv that they had and then my eyes started to roll up slowly and then i just knocked out lmao. i blinked and that was it lol. woke up and felt so drunk lmao it was funny & then i took my meds for the pain which the pain the highest was like maybe a 4.
