Agreed. I’m sure like everyone he’s made mistakes and bad choices but I love how he talks as if he’s talking to a friend , he doesn’t speak like I’m the almighty wrestling guy and your just stupid marks like imo a lot of podcasts do these days . I suppose the easiest way of putting it is he gets that this is Dutch telling how it was and not Dutch trying to keep up the story of a wrestling Persona. He shows humility and is humble when needed. I wish Mr Flair would try a little bit of that

I don’t know how this relationship firsts started but it should never end. James is for me one of the best , he asks the questions and let’s the person answer, sounds simple but so many talk over or start asking another question before the answer. Dutch for me is very much under appreciated especially for younger viewers. He’s as honest as he comes also. Imagine your job being getting to listen to Dutch tell stories. Heaven. (I of course understand James has loads to do and it’s not quite that easy)

wait a minute here , I just looked up Dutches age. He is 72 ? No way , my god he looks amazing for 72 , honestly I was thinking late 50s to early 60s. Please keep this show going for as long you can , I want to hear from guys like Dutch for as long as they feel able to keep doing business.

As a 15 year old in the 80s, I saw a show in Corinth Mississippi, I was peeking in a window saw Dutch and the crew playing cards, I watched them for a few minutes before a cop told me to "get away from there" that was a good show that night, rock and roll express brought the house down, and Dutch had shoobaby in the ring.

Paul (Giant) actually had the operation done in the mid 90's to stop the growth as his sister begged him to have it done. He is a giant, just he had his gland repaired in time to be able to live a long, healthy life. He did lose the strength of a giant though which he admitted he did not like, and gained weight at the time before getting back into shape.

About that picture and the joke: Thing about humor is that it often transports itself bad if written, unless you tell a classic joke. But something as irony or just fooling arround can be missunderstood as you don't see the facial expressions and gestures of that person.

Orndorff bit a chunk off of Tony Atlas' ear during a fight. They had an argument during a car ride and stopped on the roadside to settle it. Atlas' is an amateur wrestler but Orndorff was a complete savage whenever he lost his temper. He'd go for eyes, ears, digits, ball or whatever else he could use to cripple someone.

Somehow we wen back to not tell anyone to be a wrestling fan, because it's not that cool anymore. More viewed as something for kids and teenagers, but not for adults. The time when it was cool to be a wrestling fan was during the Monday Night Wars and the Attitude era.

I don't buy gimmick TShirts but I absolutly would buy the one that says "You Worship Me" or however it's stated. I was Vince's driver from 88-90 and have quit a few stories.Hogan owed me a receipt so at 175 lbs and in a suit ,got in the ring with Terry and he bodyslammed me as Randy was yelling Wooow.Terry left the Winged Eagle belt home for thee night and of course I took pics of me wearing it.Im also in the video with DiBiasi when he picks up the Million Dollar Belt. I also had to take that belt to the office the next day ,so I have pics wearing that belt also.

I have a dream....Tony Khan and his Dad buy WWE then hire Jim Cornett, Dutch Mantel, Jerry Lawler, and Jim Ross to run all the creative oh how great would that be and Tony keep AEW completely separate and every year at WrestleMania have the Superbowl with WWE stars vs AEW stars. How great would that be!!!! Think Memphis wrestling 1978-82 mixed with Mid South 1982-84 with some Jim Crocket promotions 1985-1988 all blended together with the power production and merchandising of WWF/WWE machine , what a dream!

Then Big show (paul wight) lied to your face because, he DID have the tumor located near his thyroid gland but he had it removed after he was about 19 years old. There’s a FULL ON INTERVIEW where Paul (big show) talk about it. And even links himself to Andre because says he was a fan as little kid wanted to be “just like him” and to be careful what you wish for. 🙄 The difference why Andre was so much bigger is because Andre has actively CHOSE not to get the surgery. It was offered and he said no. He was scared it would mess up his success. And he didn’t want to take the time away cause then someone else takes your place.

DIRTY DUTCH: How hard is it too be a Talent Scout? Seams like you'd be good at that. How about a Agent? They're like a liason between talent and business? Who pays them? Paul Heyman an Agent? Have you brought people into the business? Great work buddy! Your getting good at this. I like how your even keeled some people every time you see them their up their down your always the same. You don't seam nearly as pissed off as you did in Memphis!

Hence the reason the life expectancy for a bodybuilder is 46. Worlds strongest man and body building is different. Strong man you eat as much as possible and turn that into muscle. Body building you use steroids and dehydrate your body so the veins in your muscles are more visible
