I happily call him my stepdad as he provides and helps us out. My biological dad is ok with being single. My parents divorced. My mum found a new guy. My dad stopped drinking and smoking and doing that stuff years ago. Not long ago I saw wine on my dads table and freaked out. I was too scared to say anything. I hoped that my dad didn’t drink. I also saw him replying to a fb comment asking: “Hey (my dads name) when are we going to go for a drink again?” All I saw was AGAIN. My dad had a lot of replies for that comment that I can’t remember because I was too scared... That night I cried... I hope he isn’t drinking.

I wish my parents got divorced. They have been fighting since I can remember and about two years ago they even started physically fighting. It's obvious that they are no longer in love and I don't want to see them fight anymore. We have recently moved two states away and because of the stress of moving four kids and a wild dog their fighting had been worse than ever. I know that them getting a divorce will make them happy but the only reason they stay together is because of me and my siblings.
